How about concentrating on making an actual vehicle for the market? Chrysler has one vehicle left....

I remember being excited to see what amazing new concept Chrysler (and other Mopar brands) was gonna show next, and maybe even sell. Great to see something new and sleek!

To be honest, it's nice, but the concept is like watching a video game. This thing will be too expensive, especially if this is what you are replacing the 300 with. The 300 was affordable fingers crossed
@kyledavid10 ай бұрын
That's why it's a concept. It's only demonstrating tech they're researching on. If they ever make production, or pass gov restrictions even, I imagine some will be available as options or in certain trims. I imagine "like watching a video game" might be taken as a compliment in that regard, though.

Affordable?
@kyledavid10 ай бұрын
@@cinder-nu3pk right. That's a relative term. Also, people in the Mopar community weren't exactly thrilled when Chrysler was initially relegated to less than "near luxury" in the first place. I doubt Chrysler is going to reach too far above luxury or near luxury. Some of the models and trims, maybe.

...a friend shared a story yrs ago, of a time portal flash-forward experience he had with friends on an Ottawa University campus in the 70s, and for a 5 second moment, all the surrounding building were suddenly replaced with transparent futuristic structures with no one around, when he snapped back to present time, startled, he turned to his friends and said "... did you see that ?!?!" ...they had no idea what he was talking about.... this amazing video reminded me of that conversation ...🚀love the car. looking forward to our rapidly approaching future among the stars 🌠

It looks and sounds amazing. But how practical is this? Will this be a product that actually comes to market and if so how much will it cost, when will it be available, and what compromises will it have in terms of looks and features? A concept car is cool, but when other auto makers (ie Tesla) are putting out cars you can actually buy and are working towards many of the features listed here then it just means that Chrysler is behind if they're still in the concepting phase.
@endeavourist528710 ай бұрын
It's just a concept, but public feedback gained from it helps guide actual products that follow. As a division of the Stellantis behemoth, Chrysler presumably has various development teams working on different projects.

Don’t see the point of showing features - most already available to some degree- I’d be more interested in this as a new design language for the brand

My mother dosent drive my car and neither will some computer. I'll drive!!! The car is definitely to high-tech for me which alleviates the simplicities of driving and the joys of driving. The cost of maintaining something like this would be off the charts and it's cost to own would greatly supersede many exotic sports cars. Assuming that this is all electric, it too has a long down time for charging and is definitely inferior to range which is pretty bad considering the amount of money you would pay to own it. This monetary pit is great fo one thing though, To look at and that's it. If one was given to me right now, i would definitely sell it cheap. I rather buy the Zeekr EV which charges in 15 minutes and has a range of 640 miles. Unfortunately not available in the United States of America. Till EVs are improved, you can keep them. Especially the way overpriced concepts.......

These comments are so synthetic it hurts. Whole video is just so gimmicky, there's no way vehicles can do most of what is presented, only thing i can guarantee is that the car will get in lockdown or won't open for the one who purchased it for nonsensical reasons.

Interesting, but we all know that thing is never coming to market. By the time the accountants get to it, it will have completely conventional doors, cheap materials, ordinary Li ion batteries, and a limited range. Please stop making promises that you have no plans to fulfill. Yes, it beautiful, intriguing, and visionary, but it isn't reality. Give us a hybrid, or extended-range electric version, then you will have something. It reminds me a bit of the Lucid Air. I would never purchase the Lucid because of the company's Saudi Public Investment Fund ownership.
