Yes it will work on any older Chrysler radio, that dont have the mode button, but your radio needs to be external CD changer ready CDC button, there is a round 8 pin plug on the back side of the Chrysler 300m radio, pie chry98-aux

Yes it will work in a 1999 Chrysler 300m but you have to remove the 4 disc cd changer from under the radio, or unplug it also when buying the aux adapter ask for the round plug for your radio most people send it free with the purchase

there is a diferent auxiliary input in case you want to keep the external CD changer, the interface allows you to input 3 aux sources search online for ( Pie X3-CHRY98 Chrysler 98-01 ) make sure all 3 parts are in the kit some bad sellers sale only the cable or interface by it self oemautosound sends you all 3 parts together you can also buy the same kid from PIE good luck

This is not a universal FM modulator or wireless transmitter, so its not debil this is a hard wire auxiliary input made for chrysler radios only, the signal is clear and very strong

YES there is an audio sensing unit son-aux it will detect what audio sound last one on the list oemautosound com/c-84-chrysler-auxiliary-input-converter

@bswizzle967 The other way is splicing the audio coming from the external CD player, but i don't have anything else plug into the radio so i have to use the Chrysler auxiliary adapter installation took only a few minutes it is just plug and play no cutting any wires i did run the cable inside the center console and it was a bad idea , so now i got a little jack at front like the new Chrysler radios i use the is335 from pac

I purchased the chry-02-aux and did the same thing that was done in the video but when I removed my radio from the dash and looked in the back I noticed that the inputs were on the opposite side than shown in the video. I've a 2000 Chrysler 300M, and purchased the one that you mentioned in the video because you mentioned it would work on older models as well. The inputs seem longer in the back as opposed to the small square like parts. Which one do I need because I have to exchange it. Thanks

There are two parts you can use CHRY04-AUX OR ISFM21 this second part is the bluetooth for android you can find them from oemautosound for the auxiliary input to work the Crysler radio needs to be satellite ready or rear DVD ready, but there is no need to change the radio

Hey, great video! I have a 2003 Chrysler 300M that I would like to add this AUX input to. I just bought a cassette adapter, but the sound quality is not as good as I had expected. I'd like to keep my external CD changer, radio, and cassette player, if possible... Is there a way that I can add this converter to the back of my radio and have a free plug to plug it into? Also, where is your cassette player? Did you remove it? Thanks!

$75.00 radio that you can purchase at a fleamarquet maybe, a nice radio compare to the factory Chrysler 300m radio will have to be Alpine Pioneer Kenwood and they will cost over $200.00 you need a harness radio kit and antenna adapter, this is not going to look good and not going to match the dash of the Chrysler 300. not only that you lose the infinity amplifier and the steering wheel controls

A new radio Pioneer or Kenwood a lot better, NOOO. I will need a new Radio harness, a Radio kit, those flimsy plastic that anybody can brake and take your radio not only that, the new radio is smaller with small buttons, now the radio sticks out 1/2 of an inch because of the radio kit, I will also need and antenna adapter some type of interface to make the new radio works with the Infinity sound system amplifiers, and for sure I will lose the Center channel speaker, and steering wheel controls also the different radio illumination color, I do have 2 alpine radios, but the lights didn't match and I don't need to replace a broken glass because I when to the movies late at night the Auxiliary input adapter works great sounds clear CD sound quality and looks factory I have now 2 inputs one for iPod with a docking cable and one for aux with a 3.5 headphone jack I will be adding a Bluetooth media kit next week
