I'm a huge Fred Astaire fan and I've never seen this one before. It put a smile on my face!

Fred Astaire was a dapper and elegant master of dance the likes of which we will never see again . Barrie Chase his co star was famed at the time as his dance partner in several late 1950s TV specials . Ms Chase may well be the only surviving participant from the 1954 movie White Christmas as of Jam 2024 .

Fred Astaire and John Lennon were good friends. Fred appears in the 1972 film Imagine partly filmed at John's then house Tittenhurst Park, England.
