Good video. Not dropping the tank saves a lot of time and you don't have to worry about the gas in the tank unless it's completely full. Did this three years ago and now the pump died again. It was a Delphi pump so this time I got a Carter pump and I hope that lasts longer.

I had water in my gas . I dropped the tank and removed bad gas . Replaced water filter , reinstalled the tank . Now my 2000 town country won't start . I gave spark and gas on the Schrader valve ( valve stim pressure release ). I have spark and fual pressure. Vehicles ran good b4 . Now won't start .

What tool did you use to remove the black plastic fuel locking cap? My Haynes repair manual says fuel pressure psi should be 49 psi. I rented fuel pressure tester at autozone i will check after. Right now it read 27 psi. I hope it will go higher with new fuel pump. I also rented fuel pump removal tools at autozone red plastic case.

If you've got a plastic one like that and can't get it by hand, use a strap wrench. If you're working on something with a metal lock ring, use a BRASS chisel to spin it off (don't use a steel one, as they can spark).
