Greetings from Guam! Many thanks for the reaction! I'm gratified you enjoyed it! The lead singer, Freddy Lim, was a member of the Taiwanese parliament and is married to the bassist of the band, Doris Yeh. They're fiercely patriotic, and I'm hoping everything will be OK over there with the threats from China. They trained for a month just to prepare for this video shoot and still were all injured from its the demands. The palace, Bu-Tic, is in Tainan, and they worked with the city hall. Doris says about this song "It talks about self-defense, righteous violence and the armed spirits!" I have another request for you. A band from Switzerland: ELUVEITIE - Aidus. (I see Switzerland is a country you've yet to react to.) Thank you again!!

I enjoyed that. I usually like a little more melody to contrast the harsh vocals, but it was good. I'd like to suggest the band Alcest. 'Sapphire' for a band performance video. 'Autre Temps' for a nice bitter-sweet video. I've heard it said 'Autre Temps' sometimes gets blocked, but I have seen a couple of recent reactions to it.

OMG so my boyfriend is from Taiwan, and I recently got into Taiwanese metal, like a few years ago. He hates it.. but i LOVE IT and Chtonic is great. Could you also react to their other songs especially the song called '"Takao'' which also has a great video? This is so awesome seeing a reaction channel react to my newest and most important obsession, haha. Again, thanks so much guys. Do you also like rock-ish music? Because one of the most important Taiwanese songs would be ''島嶼天光 - Islands Sunrise'' or in English, Fire Ex. It's a song for the student protest movement that was really influential to the future of Taiwan. Many of my friends here in NL (who are from Taiwan) participated in that and I think they are heroes!

And if that's not your thing, there is also some band that reminds me a lot of Epica (so symphonic metal) this one is great: Crescent Lament 恆月三途 - 孤燈微微 (By the Lone Light) Never thought as a European I'd like this stuff, but this song is great and I love all the different styles/instruments/vibes, just.. great stuff!

When you first reacted to this, I went looking for an English version of the lyrics and didn't find anything. When I went looking again, I immediately found a version with English subtitles (also with the song lyrics in the video description). The video with the subtitles is almost as old as the original Chthonic video. So why did yt wait until now to show it to me?
