From all the better vocalists - I have heard on Chuang Asia - Mamcu really touched me (yes with tears), she's that good. When she sings...it is raw, edgy, slightly husky which makes it her own and very unique. The way she sang was not even perfect at all, but that totally doesn't matter to me at all. It is because she pulled me right from the get go and took me on this short but emotional journey, I was able to feel it. At the end the ways she ended with a few adlibs here and there is how she felt it. If she would sing it again it would be slightly different. On top of that she is very cute and has funny side the way she reacts. I look forward how she will adapt to form into a group and if she's able to pick up the level of dancing that's required.

MAMCU has improved a lot since Sing!China 2019 when she was 19 years old. She has acquired a lot of flavor and variety in her vocals and lost some weight to maintain that Diva image. I'm still tracking down her solo MVs with the latest from seven months ago called "Noisy" that I have found. But it is hard to find them with no English in the titles but Chinese characters.

I do remember MAMCU from Sing China 2019 as (2nd or 1st?) runner up. But I had to rewatch some clips to remind myself that I knew her. I went down a rabbit hole to listen to all her songs. "他“ is so so good, I can re-listen to that one over and over again. I like "Needy" too. I believe she chose a Chinese R&B route which suits her very well. Her voice did change (style or artistic choice) as in she choses how to she sings and delivers rather than just having a one type of voice, which was vocally clean and with high notes and powerful. She is able to give more color to what a song requires. Anyway, she got me hooked and can't get enough of listing to her songs and voice😅

She's too good to be in a group, realistically it'll be a waste if she had to tone down her vocal ability to be in harmony with a group, but she'll outshine the other members if they made her sing to her full capability. And her style is not suited for a pop, hip/hop, dance type of songs that idol group usually sing

@@yoon9521 Putting her up against other more rounded girls in a 1:1 is just stupid though... Everyone can see that she is not going to (re) debut through this show as part of a group. A few of the early choices are really odd, tbh. I guess it's still at the start though.
