Chub and Dace the River Ingrebourne in London

A late summer bike ride roving the River Ingrebourne in East London with my battered old telescopic. No monsters today, but it's great sport especially for this small urban stream, in an area where most people don't even realise there are any fish.

Cheers mate, yes there are some fantastic parks and open spaces in London, it's amazing what sort of bird life you find too, that's gets blown up the thames estuary on migration 👍

@@TheBudgetAngler i lived and worked in london from 88 till 92 and never realised i could have so much angling available thats the beauty of your channel u can show people whats on their doorstep if they want to give it a go im up in scotland and ive got some fantastic coarse fishing available and its FREE believe it or not but strangely the urban fishing is nowhere as good as london cheers andy keep up the good work

I live just over the road, fished this river alot, stretch mainly upto kids playground then back down towards Hacton playground. Used to be some really good chub in that stretch upto 3lb jack pike eels and all silvers think it had a sewage problem couple of years ago the bigger fish seemed to disappear. Taking my son over there for his first trip as soon as this rain gives up!! There is also a small pond further up in the middle of the woods was full of decent roach and wild carp. It's really hard to find did walk over there a few weeks ago but the one swim was all over grown with reeds....🙄🙄🙄 Love the vids!!.

Fished those exact swims with my dad as a child. Believe it or not, across the road by the kids play area, my dad caught a 3lbs Pike! He's still got a photo of him and I holding it with shock on our faces!

Nice vlog. I was born and grew up in the area that you were fishing. In fact part of the river was on my school cross country run. If you were patient you could wait then slide over on the pipes halving the course. Love your work. Stay safe and thanks

looks a nice bit of river the ingrebourne. I hear the thames is a hard river. I read somewhere that somebody fished westminster area of the thames 16 times and had 1 Eel.

I FISHED IT LOTS OF TIMES SAW A BIG CHUB IN THERE AND SOME YOUNG BOY PUT A ROD IN WHERE I WAS FISHING FOR IT BANG HE GOT LOL I WEIGHED IT FOR HIM 5LB 4 oz THAT WAS 20 YEARS AGO NICE TO NO THE FISH ARE STILL THERE.
