CHUB fishing- Roving on a small River - Feb 2023

Join me on the banks of a small local River fishing for the resident CHUB.
Using both trotting & feeder tactics could I manage to find a hook a few Winter Chub?
It was a beautiful afternoon/evening to be out on the bank with a spectacular
sunset & a Barn Owl hunting close by making it extra special....

Well done mate. It’s not an easy river in the winter, but will often reward your effort if you persevere. I went last Wednesday for the last 90mins, had two nice chub on trotted breadflake. All the best pal.

Hello nice video! Does the gate at the top of the lane you are parked on get locked shut on a night? New to the area but fancy having a go for the chub. Cheers Gary

Hi Gary, the gate usually just gets pushed shut when it gets dark but can still be opened. I've fished unti tge darkness for a couple of hours n it's still been open 👍, thanks for watching pal, n tightly especially mate 🎣

Nice evening setting Pete, River looks a nice pace. A couple of sweet winter chub. That second chevin had a nice size to it. Im so missing being on the bank side with ya pal, im gunna try for a pike or 2 tomorrow night mate if you can get a pass 😀
