1) you can't use an IR thermometer on glossy surfaces, You're going to get bad and inaccurate readings. 2) You compared temperatures with one charger that was using lightning and peaking up to 3V with the battery at 0% vs a charger outputting 1w via USB-C at ~35% charge putting out 1w. 3) wireless charging will always create heat. it's part of the reason that they're not very efficient.. more heat is more wasted power but usually either means faster charging or the charger is not correctly aligned with the charging coil in the device. 4) it looks like the fat cable device you tested wasn't aligned correctly.. the cable is coming out at an angle. Review things if you want to review them but don't compare things unless you're comparing apples for apples (mind the pun). Use the same cable.. start the charge at the same charge percentage. use a thermocouple to measure the temperature. Make sure the device is starting the charge at the same ambient temperature.

What a flawed test. "This charger doesn't work so I'll charge it on a different charger and will continue the test"

Would have been cool to see the normal Watch charger as comparison. Still great video

Pretty bad comparison vid, looks to be just promoting his amazon affiliate link or something.
