I came across this video just hours before my case arrived. Now that my iPhone 16 Max Pro is in it, it does look great. HOWEVER….as you pointed out, the camera control button without a bigger notch in the case really stinks. The lenses protruding is a big deal. Also…it’s not very comfortable to hold for very long and it does not charge on my MagSafe in my office. My MagSafe in my bedroom charges it incredibly slow. If the battery is low it will definitely take at least 6-7 hours to fully charge. Within a couple days I’ll decide if I’ll return it. Aesthetics is important to me and it does look unique. I just ordered lens covers. And direct into USBc is doable if I keep it and can’t always wait for the extremely slow MagSafe charging with this case. I give it an A grade for looks. C- for lens protection and lack of a proper notch for the camera control button.

I just received mine today and they changed the raised metal edge by the camera button, so its easier to press now. My only complaint though is you kinda have to play around when you position it on a magsafe charger, sometimes it won't charge and you just have to move it around and it becomes annoying. I also installed a spigen camera lens protector so i wont have to worry about damaging the lens. Its got some good weight to it, so be careful not to drop this on your face or chest when your laying down using your phone lol.

I have the “Z” version. Took a while to get here, but so far I like it. And it has a bezel raised substantially above the lenses. Very minimalist, with a very similar MagSafe kickstand.

In your review, you’re missing an important feature. The magnetic ring in the back rotates 360. Making the kickstand angles pretty much endless, horizontally or vertically!

How well does it wireless charge (magsafe)? The design was made for older versions and hasn't been updated to account for the new camera button. That and the fact that it doesn't really protect the lens. Shame, but if one has the 15 or older, this looks like a great case if you pair it with a lens protecting cover.

It does not charge on the MagSafe in my office. My bedroom MagSafe it does charge but incredibly slow. It will take many hours for my phone to be charged if the battery is low. No charging issues on my previous case. I have the 16 Max Pro.

Could you run a speed test with it on and off. I wonder if the metal will impact the WiFi/Cell performance

I haven’t noticed any issues and it’s very similar to when I didn’t have this case on and I had a rubber case on

Thank you for showing but wow this is a big fail. The camera button is a major mistake to get that wrong. Also when you showed the camera lenses stick out of the case, those are not protected. So if that ever drops, I would expect the camera lenses to get damaged. That’s a major issue in my opinion and not worth buying. This is one of those “great idea on paper” but poor execution. If they redesign the camera button issue and protect the camera lenses, it will be a win in my opinion.

I have the case and the camera control works perfectly fine. It is completely exposed and has space too from the bump and is very seamless with the case design.
