Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

One thing to note about "cyanide smelling like almonds", I highly recommend you look at a video NileRed made on this topic. In short, he smelled a gaseous form of cyanide, and it smelled nothing like almonds to him (smell is a weird sense, and differs between ppl). Also, to further make this misconception even worse, cyanide is only found in major quantities in BITTER almonds, which are very uncommon in modern foods; you've probably never eaten any. EDIT: I want to add in that people have found that person-to-person smelling abilities and perception can cause cyanide (and also probably bitter almonds) to smell different. So maybe it does smell like that to some people. I just wouldn't use smell as a basis for detecting cyanide, as a lot of things could smell like almonds that don't have cyanide, while cyanide may not smell like anything specific (to you). So it'd be unsafe to use this rule-of-thumb.
@fabrisseterbrugghe85674 жыл бұрын
I did once, just a freak almond off a sweet tree. Nasty. I spat it out.
@AlexSiviero4 жыл бұрын
While in that video he doesn't find that cyanide smells like almonds, there are scientific studies that found that there are different perceptions of cyanide smell between people. Some smell almonds, some smell something else and some are incapable of perceiving any smell from its gaseous form. That explains his video but doesn't discredit his verdict, that relying on sense smell as a way to avoid cyanide is a terrible idea

Wrong sorry, Sweet Almonds do have glycoside amygdalin in them, which when broken down creates Hydrogen Cyanide but it's 1000 times less roughly. So they are considered safe to eat. Lots of foods contain this including apple seed. Approximately 200 ground up apple seeds is fatal.

It’s really sad that someone who may not know better doesn’t have a safe place to gain information on drugs. The mentality has been abolition and harm reduction has been ignored. This person wouldn’t have almost died and wouldn’t be living with long term health issues if there was a source that could have been used that didn’t tell him to do something as absolutely stupid as inject raw boiled mushroom tea… like holy crap no you never should inject mushroom tea you can drink it and it will work assuming the shrooms are the right shrooms
