It took some time for casey to become soft...i thought he was one of th3 bad guys in s1 because of how he blindly followed orders and was hardcore strict ..sarah was strict to but she would always question orders when mattered she does that in pilot episode...the one in which she is in Hungary before she even met chuck when she feels that her handler is upto something and needs the baby for his own agenda and even after her memory is reverted to old self she doesn't want to blow up the building with chuck in it but quinn does and she later punches quinn for doing that but he manipulates her yet again to try to kill chuck and take the glasses since she is not following orders as she is being lied to at that point she is forced to carry on her order since she defyed it once....this is clear contrast in casey and sarah ..casey just used to shoot opponents w/o asking them he did it twice to bryce and was going do it to chuck too in 2.01 only after that he became chucks friend and then finally he nd sarah also start to get along

Completely agree on with you. I think after watching it over and over again I became a bigger fan of the evolution of Casey because he was always the toughest one to change. He went from always following orders and being the perfect soldier to slowly slipping through the cracks. Then it was like right when he found out he had a daughter everything started to change within him. He fought to be the perfect soldier and fought to be loyal to his team which in the end became his family and how he would literally kill for them even protecting Morgan ( which for me was the cherry on top. Considering how many times he just wanted to throw him off the tallest building to not only accept him dating his estranged daughter but giving them his apartment when he left).

I love how they snuck an actual curse word in with the Spanish subtitles. When Shaw says "damn" after hearing Chuck found their base, they translate it to the Spanish "mierda". But in reality, "mierda" translates quite literally to "shit". So anyone who speaks Spanish and was reading those subtitles are thinking that Shaw actually said "shit" on a network show.
