What a great interview. Watch all six parts. Worth every second. Surprised they didn't mention Immortal Technique.

I was surprised these two bosses had no clue no mention about hiphop and rap across the world ... today.

The interview happened in 2009, but even with the interview being dated it's still relevant

DMC and mother fuckin Chuck D I was just a kid in 1984 and a big time Run DMC fan, NWA and Public Enemy fan as a teen, but I also loved Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and T,Pau. Chuck D and Tom Morello are rocking hard with Profits Of Rage.

the t-shirt he is wearing is punk [independence] .. the other guy is wearing adidas [slavery and 3$ sweat shops] .. says a lot ! Do Rappers actually think about the enslaved outside america? .. HipHop mutated so much, it's pioneers are done-with mostly ...

No. it's hip-hop and rap. Words Matter... Yet these dinosaurs are yammering about some epoch of rolling stones !

Changed the world? Well as hoaxy as that claim seems let's not argue. Maybe at best they are your heroes. Yet after hearing 2 parts of this lengthy bro-talk its quiet obvious these ex-Kings and Amighties have not much clue about contemporary hip-hop or rap and what's happening outside their realm and nostalgia. As for protests, I do - If you want to see or read just ask.
