Yes, I was surprised that both Big Pig's "Breakaway" & Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgetting" were remakes of Chuck Jackson songs. Jackson's originals should've been much bigger.

This is incredible. I saw Big Pig live in Los Angeles in 1988 and have loved them and this song ever since. And now, 34 years later, I find out that this song is a cover. I really love the original and now I love Big Pig's version even more! Thanks for posting!!!!
