I never heard of Chuck Jackson before but this man can sing. You can tell he learned to sing in a church. I have been you tubing him so he had a long career I never heard nothing of him he was good Rip ❤

Yes makes sense, Chuck did this song. The Tempts(especially Paul) were influenced by Chuck even as a 'Dell Viking'!

I can hear Chuck in Paul except in my opinion Paul is better. He had more of a huskier tone to him that Chuck doesn’t.

Just for the record, while Paul Williams and some of the other OG Temptations may have been influenced by Chuck Jackson, this song was originated by The Temptations in 1966 with Chuck following suit two years later when he got to Motown.
