I absolutely loved watching chuck’s championship run. I was in college, went to cal poly, San Luis Obispo where Chuck was also from, and we’d throw fight parties. What a blast!

Im reading Chucks book. Hes always been one of my favorite fighters. Tito was afraid of Chuck because Chuck sparked him in sparring. Thats not a knock on Tito in any way because that man is a legend as well. Its just that prime Chuck was one of the hardest hitters ever and as tough as they come.

Imagine telling a Kempo guy who’s been wrestling since he’s a kid, and has a black belt in bjj “you are just a brawler”. 😅

He really paid the price for his style of fighting though. This is an old video. He can barely string a sentence together these days., slurring his words, and generally making no sense.

Great fighter with obvious signs of long term brain damage.
