That is why IMO TNT/TBS is the best Sports theme cable network in America now. They do a great balance of entertainment and having fun and yet when it's needed they get 'serious" too. ESPN in recent years has gone too political. And back to the topic. This is why I think NHL Boss Bettman made one of the best moves of his long career as the hockey commish. It's not uncommon for a team to beat another even if their regular season was far worse. It's a very physical sport so players are completely beat down by the end, needing to win 24 games to get the cup

Went to the hockey hall of fame last fall and had the honor to see Lord Stanley Cup. Even thought its just a trophy for someone. I enjoy watching and keep more in touch during playoff time. Even if Im not a super fan, the presence of the cup is mesmerizing. It is the center of the hockey world. Really did feel like greatness when you lay your eyes on it.
