I realise it wasn't conventional but the entire series we had Chuck wanting a normal relationship with a normal girl and we saw him more than once point out to Sarah that he was moving on because she would never not be a spy. The ending had her choosing him over continuing a spy life and actually wanting to love him, which is why she asked to hear their story and told him to kiss her. IMHO saying the ending was bad is like saying the first couple of seasons were bad because of all the sexual energy between them and heartache for Chuck every time Bryce or Shaw or any other man showed up in her life. Now she was actually choosing him. My two cents anyway...

@@Karma-qt4ji well technically before the dark 'incident', she already decide to quit spying. The show is about to end at the right pace until they screw it up at the last moment by not giving a proper ending. It is unnecessary and just create a tension for the ending. Why the need to give the audience the choice when it is very clear the audience would only choose one choice either way.

I just watched this scene again for the first time in over a year and I started bawling and giggling at the same time, and then bawling some more. I'll never be over this show or this couple. Or how adorable Sarah Walker is as she goes on her amazing journey and realizes she's happy and in a place she never thought she'd be in -- marrying not just a good man, but someone she's genuinely and passionately in love with. When she cries, I cry. And Casey's brotherly support when he comes in is the icing on the cake. You know he totally walked her down the aisle.

Yeah, I recently rewatched the show and couldn't believe how it felt like I was watching it for the first time again. This is definitively my favorite Sarah scene ever. It's literally Sarah Walker in a nutshell. She has no real idea how to be "normal", then she finally realizes she's truly happy... after which Cassey comes and she realizes that perfect dress is full of bullet holes. Love this scenes so much, it perfectly sums up her entire character in just a few moments. Not to mention that really strong acting from Yvonne when she says "We're gonna get married". The look on her face is so genuine and priceless.

I'm in the middle of rewatching the second series at the moment and holy shit, every time I go a while without watching it I somehow forget just how good it was. The whole charm of the show is just unique, the only thing that's come close since then IMO is iZombie but still, I don't think anything will ever beat Chuck. Everything about the show and its formula was just so damn perfect, in five series I don't think there was a single bad episode.

I juuuust watched Chuck in its entirety, finished the last episode not 45 minutes ago actually and I have to say...Sarah Freakin Walker is one and now will forever be in my absolute top favorite list of characters for always! At first shes intimidating with all her beauty that makes her so statuesque and to top it off we learn that she is a spy, one of the best! She's hella tough and a mighty force to be reckoned with, a total femme fatale! But then we experience her growth and the beauty of her vulnerability that is truly new to her and through it we get to see of how much of a loving person she actually is and how fiercely she cares for those around her especially Chuck. One of the best things about this show is how we get to see her unbridled love for Chuck and how she expresses it. How overprotective she is of him is one of the most endearing things I've seen in Television for a while and I honestly cannot get enough of it ❤ And her as a character itself? She's just amazing and I truly love her. She's too damn adorable and I love that beneath her super spy exterior she's a total sweetheart and Chuck brings out the best in her! This scene always gets me because she deserves to be happy and Yvonne plays it perfectly capturing Sarah's nervous energy in being in the unfamiliar territory trying to be a girly bride lol. Yvonne WAS the only option for Sarah Walker and no one could have portrayed a more memorable and beloved character than her. I love this series, I love these characters and I'm soo upset at myself for waiting soo long to watch the show. I wished there was more seasons so I could continue to watch this family grow and see where life continued to take them. I hope we get to see more of them someday and maybe finally get some answers about whether they got Sarah's dream house or if they ever did have children so baby Clara could have a cousin to play with! Here's to hoping, Chuck Vs The Sequels please!!!🤞🏻

Michael sacrificing himself to save her, and then his recorded speech to her and Linc at the end of The Final Break was ANAZING 😢😢 I would also add Neal and Sara, Neal and Rebecca (even though she ended up being a psychopath), Jarod and Miss Parker (the mutual antagonism actually made the sexual tension between the two even better), just to name a few. But overall, the best relationship of any kind, was father/son dynamic between Jarod and Sidney. It's just too bad we never got an actual conclusion to The Pretender. But it's still my all time favorite show, anyway.

Ha! Funny how Ellie thinks Chuck is paying for this wedding. The show implies that Sarah is loaded. The cost of this wedding; the Porsche; she bought new identities to run away with Chuck in Prague and told him she had money saved to carry them over; the prenup that she wanted because she had some money socked away for her father in case he had legal trouble again. Also, she was ready to run away with Chuck a second time in the Honeymooners. We saw Casey give Alex all of his money in Chuck vs The Ring 2. I’m sure Sarah has a similar nest egg. She doesn’t need to rob a bank.

It's not ugly... it's very much her: sarah walker, the only thing maybe is that it is not very much a "bridesy" dress, and the style could be in any color, like any evening dress, and that is the great thing. at least that's how i see it, why spend so much on a thing you're gonna wear once, when you can tone down the "bridesy" factor and make it more recyclable for the future.

This was the only cringy AF scene with Sarah. I've always thought she's one of the best actresses ever. Can say a thousand things with her facial expressions, but her getting hit with the epiphany when she puts on the dress was awful.
