I wish they had gone with a different backstory for Chucky. In my mind, growing up Chucky had abusive parents that abused and neglected him and his brother till one day his younger brother drowns, and Chucky witnesses it, he tries to tell his parents who are too busy arguing, ignore him. They later blame Chucky. His mum ends up killing herself and his father becomes a drunk. Thinking about killing his father he practices on animals, and finds out he likes it. Then later in adolescents, he moves on to hookers and drifters. My theory, He only kills quote "dysfunctional families" unquote" or when it's convenient for him. "when he gets a little 'rusty" or just gets in his way. Take for example Andy had no father figure, and all that messed up s*** with Nika's family, oh and not to mention Tiffany's family, which I don't want to picture what kind of dysfunction was going on there. After all he did kill her mother.
