Incredible first ten minutes, I love watching slowly how he's put back together again so...meticulously. Amazing how they recapped the original movie and basically said The Mother and Child were both crazy and the Doll just malfunctioned or had mechanical problems just so they could save there billion dollar business. I also find it very shocking that the spirit and soul of Charles Lee Ray was able to still exist within just the head or steel head on the doll.

All the adult stuff the Chucky movies have, mainly the profanity and the blood, is what makes them horror. Therefore, the Chucky and Tiffany mannequin characters who are dressed up are considered collectors items for adults, not toys for kids like in the original movie.

I feel like they all knew something wasn’t right with the doll. They managed to get chuckys remains from a police impound ( I’m assuming) and probably saw a lot of strange things when rebuilding him that they couldn’t reasonably explain and tried to cover up. The whole chucky story is really in depth and leaves a lot of unanswered questions

You know, I never considered it...even for a minute, the way you're explaining it. This is so true, you are totally right...there must have been so many 'unnatural' irregularities with the doll's components due to the 'voodoo' process' of it becoming human. Supposedly, by the end of the first film the doll body had 'an almost' human heart...which was the knowledge that was used to kill him at that time, so I'm wondering how much of the doll was almost 'completely' human by that time as well. I remember clearly, in the first film Chucky had changed dramatically (physically-on the outside too) by the end of the movie...he is no longer able to revert completely and successfully to the 'dormant' fake doll-look stage anymore, he looks very awful at the end, before he gets torched. In the second film we get to see a bit more of just how much more human he is at the end of the film as well...when he tore-off his own hand, which was stuck, and when his legs get amputated by the 'Good Guy' appendage machine...there is so much blood. In the third film it's even more detailed when we get a view of his 'sawed-off' half-face, which is even more interesting because he came back...completely, from a mere few drops of blood that dripped from his old body, left behind from the previous film.

What's really unrealistic and sad about this is that Andy who is a child says that the doll is possessed by a notorious killer and even knows the exact full name. It would be more convincing and realistic for these people not to believe a little kid like Andy if he says that the doll is possessed by one of the sesame seed characters or even barney. Now that would be a true fairytale story lol. But for Andy to say that it is actually possessed by Charles Lee Ray would make me truly worried and I would even take his story more seriously.

Iv'e read that the original story Don Macini wrote when he was younger [and still at the Univercity I think] was indeed Child's Play 1 BUT.. the plot twist was that Andy actually did the murders and he blamed the doll [which we, the audience thought was real] cause he had 2 personalities or something like that and wasn't even aware of his actions. But the studio/ex producers w/e guys, thought it would be better to just make Chucky real etc.

Have seen all 7 of The Chucky movies and Childs Play 2 was the first Chucky movie I saw ! It was on Spectrum on demand so I rented it on Spectrum cable TV ! Love all the Chucky movies but feel Childs Play 2 and Bride Of Chucky were my very favorite Chucky movies have them all on DVR the 7 movies dont have the newer one that came out in 2019 though never seen it on Cable TV ethier just on DVD Netflix only saw it !
