Heres a little tip. If your team has a disconnect, not only do you get quick respawn, but also, if you lose, no matter what you will only lose 1 point to your rank. Its saved me from ranking down many times.

What makes the disconnect thing stupid is that there are _many ways_ to tell how a user dropped. Yes, you can't tell a power outage from a pulled plug, but Nintendo should be able to tell a timeout from dropping to the home menu.

Regarding the Ink-Wall: You see the holes in the pipe down. I say it's like a sprinkler for the garden: The Ink shoots UP and so builds the wall you can't get through. No hanging from the ceiling

You may be looking at it and thinking: "Hey, aren't 96es just crappier versions of Vanilla and Cherry H3s?", and you will be... Absolutely right. 96 has almost same but worse kits, much worse at inking, much slower at splatting, much slower, less efficient, less accurate, less gear independent, less everything pretty much. However, it gains it all in one small but significant trait- it's extremely easy and straightforward to use. H3 is no diamond, that goes to Bamboozler and Eliter, but it's still a solid 8 on Mohs scale of hardness. Once you get used to slow and ink guzzling everything on 96, however, it's very easy to get to its full potential. So, exactly how much worse is 96? Not enough to make it bad on paper at least. It guzzles a ton of ink, but not as much as Pro does. Speaking of which, it also turfs better than it and 52. Yup. Pro has similar range but a lot less net coverage, while 52 has almost same output but less range and more speed. While 96's coversge is slow but solid, other two are spotty and 52 is also dangerous in our world of ninja Carbon sharks. Time to splat is the same as Splattershot, and it has coincidentally similar accuracy at 2 lines, so while you won't be outright winning in close combat because of your mobility being poo, you have enough firepower to outgun or trade with most non-OHKO things. That's nice for stock one, but once you pick up Deco, the trade becomes unequal in 96% of cases. Heavy depletion coupled with still below average coverage, expensive special and non-inking sub is a gnarly combo that makes getting splatted with it probably the most expensive mistake you can do. It is not helped by the fact that 96 is an inheritedly aggressive weapon with built in flaws- from missing 1 in 5 shots (that's almost literally how it's programmed), to a bit too much defense up or distance, to wall not deploying because previous still stands, to getting chased around by supersonic Nzaps and rollers, to running dry in the middle of a fight, 96 can and will fail you in more ways than any other weapon. Playing it conservatively is no use as well, because it's a very subpar weapon if not for its splatting power. Compare to H3, where the only point of failiure is you, and playing defensively or badly at least keeps ink down and echoes/bubbles/zookers coming. TLDR, there's no such thing as perfect 96. At one point, your skill with H3 or Pro will outweigh 96's own unreliability. But stock is a decent aggressive alternative to vanilla H3 and DS, and Deco is still a force to be reckoned with even after all those nerfs.

Anthony... When it says "Low Ink", that means you need ink. It means you need to stop shooting blanks and duck into ink behind a safe zone, or en route to a spot where you can fire while being safe from enemy fire. Most importantly, you need to PREVENT that status from happening or you will inevitably run out when facing an enemy who has plenty of ink. If you keep that up, you're near useless to your team! It wasn't until you stayed in your ink and only came up to fire that you were super useful and helped your team hold your zone (good job on that, btw). So learn from that experience - never run on fumes! Good job, though, and great series. It motivates me to log on and kick butt right after watching each episode. Stay fresh and all those buzz words!

Chugga focuses on 100% completion and showing off every single detail of games. Then there are others like Game Grumps who focus much more on humor. Above all else, be natural, and just say what's on your mind. Don't force yourself to do anything you wouldn't normally do. It's a bit difficult to describe, but try to find a topic, and let your thoughts flow. You'll find yourself talking a lot without realizing it.

@Chuggaaconroy That revolver is interesting because it's more than likely a VERY early design of the Nozzlenose, not a Rapid Blaster. I don't know if you've realized this yet but the Nozzlenose guns are meant to be the Splatoon universe's equivalent of revolvers and magnums, which is why they are manual trigger guns like Blasters and not semi-automatic. The key change going from revolver to Nozzlenose was the coil around the base of the gun. which is meant to represent the revolving bullet chamber, but this early beta design was more than likely heavily redesigned, which is why the Nozzlenoses took a long time to come out since the game was first released.

The early splash wall seems to be a type of sprinkler IRL based on the holes in the iron bars. It would attach to the floor with the pipes on the bottom and spew ink like the wall (except upwards). My guess is the gravity on those streams was needlessly complex to program.

It maybe could have worked like the Sprinkler sub and they changed it because of it's similarities or nerfed it because of the ability to put it on walls and ceilings. It very well could have been permanent, like the Sprinkler, until destroyed, since it appears to have no ink tank attached.

Hey Chugga, you may have made one error on the Splash Walls' early design. From what I can gather, the early version had actually shot ink upwards than the 'curtain' like effect of the ones we know and use now. If you look at the design it actually supports this as there are 7 (perhaps 8 if the angle hides it) holes on top of either side of the splash wall. The 6 connecting tubes would act as a cosmetic design to hold it in place (also looks like it would connect to a ink pipe underground, and thats how its actually using that much ink). It also could have been put on a ceiling, I suppose if the game allowed it, and then would rain the ink downwards like normal. This information could very well be wrong but this is once again from what I can find.

That old splash wall looks like it was supposed to hang off the wall. Rather it looks like it would stay on the ground and spray ink upwards. The holes along the pipes on the bottom would support this. Think of like cutting small holes into a hose.

I think that weird splash wall design would have attached to any surface. Imagine putting that thing on a high vertical wall, parallel to the ground, it would spray outwards, producing a very large, hard to reach splash wall.

The Splash Wall looks like a sprinkler. Like, an actual sprinkler system. The pipes on the bottom look like where it would 'connect' to the ground system. If you look at the top of the pipes, you can see the pinholes were the ink would come out.

Actually, the Wall has tiny holes (black spot) in the tubes, with the object in the centre being the tank (I assume?) and the small circles at the bottom the actual stand. So it is, in fact, right-side up, it's just very subtle about it. I can only assume that a down-to-up wall of ink didn't 'feel' logical or fit very well.

Also Chugga the reason why the 96s saw that damage nerf was because the 96 Deco was one of those weapons that controlled the meta, and the designers needed a way to nerf it outside of wall nerfs and heavy depletion. Basically, the 96 Deco was too good and was the reason that 96 Gal also took a hit; because the damage nerf affected the properties of the main weapon, anything they did to the 96 Deco as a weapon had to be done to the vanilla 96 so the main weapons would be exactly the same.
