I don't think the bosses in this game are too easy. They might be really easy when you know exactly what to do and know their strengths, weaknesses, and what Pikmin are the best to use against them... but when I played through the game for my first time, I remember struggling with a lot of the bosses because I had never seen or played the game before and had to figure out how to even beat them in the first place. Most of the bosses took me 10 times longer to kill than it's taking you now because of that, and I would consider myself a pretty great Pikmin player!

I have to say, this is probably my favorite boss in all of Pikmin just because of his effect on the environment. I love that his feet effect the mud and the mud creates puddles which become obstacles for your Pikmin.

Am I the only one that's disappointed that Pikmin 3 didn't have Purple and White Pikmin in the story mode? They were so amazing in the second game, it just doesn't really make much sense that they completely removed any chance for them to show up in this one :/ Even if only just for a little bit, it's a bit disappointing that they didn't include them at all. They could have made it a really cool concept to have 7 types of Pikmin in total. People who haven't played 1 & 2 only get the chance to meet the Pikmin from 1 and the new Pikmin in 3 but nothing from 2? I dunno it just doesn't make much sense. To have them just in the battle/challenge mode seems like they didn't think Puple and White Pikmin are very important when they were the COOLEST new types. Anyone agree with me?

Skylord I guess I see what you mean but you don't have to have an exact number of each Pikmin... as Chugga repeatedly demonstrates. And since Purple and White don't have an Onion they could have had a small fraction of the story with a small dungeon story-line in the game. I think it would have made it more interesting and avoided making it seem like they were completely ignoring the P and W types.

about the weight puzzle that needs 3 captains, you can break that puzzle and skip it with winged pikmin by locking on to the fruit close by, and charging double the winged pikmin required to carry it

The Quaggled Mireclops does not have a damage limit. If you time your charge well enough, you can kill him in one cycle after breaking the crystal.

In the other three captain puzzle, where you need to use a pulley system to get a fruit and a data file, you can completely cheat on getting the fruit by getting as close as you can to it, locking on, and charging pinks up to it. Just something i attempted and that worked when I didn't have all the captains needed.

Did anyone else notice Emile's Lindsay Stirling reference? "Let's make it feel alive, and shater it!" in Lindsay's song "Shatter me" (With the amazing voice of Lizzy Hale) The chorus is "Somebody make me feel alive and SHATTEEEERRRRR MEEEEEEE" Followed by an awesome violin drop XD. He says it when he's breaking the giant crystal lattus

This was my first pikmin game, and I found all the bosses in this game at least somewhat hard. I found Quaggled Mireclops, Plasm Wraith, and Bug Eyed Crawmad very hard, taking out nearly all of my Pikmin used during my fights with them.

Chuggaa, the fruit beyond the gate only needs one captain. Break down the gate, then swarm the fruit with Winged Pikmin. They will get the fruit.
