***THE BIG CHUN LI GUIDE IS NOW LIVE*** link in video description and at the end of this video. An hour and a half of Chun Li goodness! Here we go with Chun Li Combos for Year 2 of Street Fighter 6! Chun is frankly one of the most difficult characters to use in SF6 correctly. However with these combos you can cut through to whats actually important and learn the good stuff! You will see the "toe tap" route a lot because it has fantastic corner carry, and Chun can land any of her 3 supers off it anywhere on the screen so pay attention to those combos! Lots of stuff, combo notations in the video description and REMEMBER: any Special move off a stance attack is "free" as in there is no charge needed! Just hit back/forward or down/up and you good to go! ****EDIT**** Since this is basically a "combo guide out of nowhere" not tied to news or dlc if you could spare a like it would be greatly appreciated, cause the algorithm ain't gonna like this one lol ***DOUBLE EDIT* LMAOOO i grabbed the wrong mp3, saxophone under the moon is playing at the end rather than the usual song

So as promised here comes that Chun-Li content in celebration of her upcoming Guest Appearance in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves. Combo guide to start things off and then the "big guide" which is probably gonna be over an hour long sometime later this week. Chun is one of the hardest characters to use correctly in the game and there's nothing really out there for her thats any kinda of modern past a lot of the launch window guides, and nobody really does it like I do it so basically ill be making the Chun-Li bible lol

This is the first chun guide I didn’t have to rewind 80 million times. You made this easily readable by slowing things plus the information was coherent. Even going the extra mile to show ended variations. You feed the people today. This makes me want to play the game!

Yep! "crouching matters" is very rarely a thing in SF6, but its a pretty big deal for chun cause it leads to her best possible cr mk drive rush combo. It widens their hurtbox by just a few pixels to make the stance HK connect after mp - bHP

One thing I think was missing is followups to H lightning kicks. You can get H lightning kicks off b.HP or DR cr.MK. After H lightning kicks, you can do SA1 mid screen for extra damage. In the corner, you can do H Tensho Kicks or toe taps>M air lightning legs if you're feeling fancy.

Perfect timing! Chun was the first character I took to Ranked in SF6, but I shifted to Ryu after a while, and played Akuma for the last couple of weeks - but just yesterday I wanted to get into Chun again, so thanks for this guide!

Great video! One of the combos I probably use the most (as an EX reversal or super punish) is f.hk, b.hp, stance mk, dd.hk/heavy tensho kicks. Does 3200 damage and you don’t have to spend meter for the EX SBK.

this comment is how I realized I grabbed the wrong mp3 at the end, its saxophone under the moon from KoF 14, not the usual song I put at the end. They are besides each other in the folder i use lollllll

Chun's gotta work a bit harder than most chars for some of the basics. Lots of what you wanna be looking for are basic CH poke confirms like stand jab into f+mp/cr mk. Learning to confirm from those are pretty important I would say and as always practice makes perfect. For the charge stuff though the big thing you gotta learn is simply hitting holding down immediately after your button press, SBK has the fastest charge window in the game and its very doable, you just gotta train yourself on hitting down fast enough

I constantly use OD SBK into HK Tensho for maximum damagee. Unironically. I wouldn’t recommend the Drive Rush stuff afterwards though, she’s got better relative damage combos for lower cost, but you probably know that

I tried Chun Li to be my main bc u know "waifu" but it was difficult AF that I just stayed with my Manon... this video made me want to come back to SF6 (am a NRS player this was my first SF bc MK1 was not in a very good place tbh)

I didn’t notice it mentioned in the video. The “toe tap” combo also sets up a safe jump in the corner. Though the 2nd stomp needs to be a little bit higher in the air to work if I remember correctly.

cause this is the combo guide, safe jumps/pressure/oki/everything not combos are mentioned in the big guide thats coming. And you can get the safe jump with multiple variations of timing

ive mentioned it before but marvel 2 was never really my game unfortunately. Capcom vs SNK 2 was my game of that era. That said when CvS2 collection drops ill be giving it the royal treatment in terms of guides

Honestly I didn't even get the game. I got my pre-order money for Metaphor and im only spending big game bucks on one of them. I don't really care for Arena Fighters the way I do for traditional fighters although in hindsight for the channel I probably shoulda but that window is gone now.

after season 2 you might as well take standing HK out of your memory since it got the damage scaling nerf. As a combo starter cr HP is basically superior now.

@rooflemonger You can actually loop ex kikokens in the corner if you charge well enough with standing lk, and at further ranges cr mk. Certain ranges of ex kikoken allow you to link sa1 afterward too. It's not actually optimal and it can be a bit rough, but the fact you can do a four ex kikoken combo into sa1 is really funny if you don't drop

for that friend you gotta learn the nomenclature. Its been LK is light kick, MK is medium kick, hk is heavy kick. If i do 1234 or ab yx almost nobody would know what im talking about in the vid
