I learned to do this pattern about 34 years ago. I was at a craft show and saw it, keep going back to it. The asked if i was interested in buying since I kept going back to it, and told I was figuring out how she made it. She laughed and said really you cc'd an do that I said yes and went home and made it, in pastels since I was pregnant with my youngest daughter. Have a great day 😊

I definitely recommend this for beginning crocheters. I love mile a minute afghans. They are so easy to take with you and work on anywhere. I have made many different patterns from easy beginner to complicated advanced and I love them all! I am sad because I lost most of my patterns in a move and have been trying to replace them via the internet. Thank you for the tutorial.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this! Gonna do this with y ok u the best I can. I've had another death 💔, a friend of my sons 😥... he was like a son to me. It's like a epidemic here. It was a suicide. Can't talk much about it but that's why I haven't been on much. This is a AWESOME pattern. I'm just going to take my time. LOVE ya girl!! XOXOX!!!

oh Cheryl i am sorry it is hard especially when it is someone so young, my sons lost a friend, he was our next door neighbour, it had such a traumatic effect on all of us, it was a motorcycle accident on a sea wall. The wonderful thing about crochet is that it really helps to fill up your mind and stop your worry or anxiety or depression. I know when i was down or upset i would just crochet and it was better than any medication. take care

@@crochetrocks AMEN SISTA! Yes I went last night to the funeral. It was an extremely emotional day of course. I was there from 2:30 until about 7:30. We moms pretty much stick together. All of our sons hung out and now they are all 28 married or engaged have children. It's hard to bury one of them. But yes the crocheting has been a lifesaver for me for much. And I've started knitting too. Proud of myself there. I am determined to learn to knit. Because I see it and so much that I want to knit but couldn't so forcing myself to learn was one of my new years resolutions 😃... Thank you sweetie! I'm still planning on getting my channel going but as you can see I've had quite a bit going on... hopefully things will calm. And I can focus after I finish this order I'm working on. Praying things are Well for hun!! XOXOX!!!

Love the mix of colours in the pinks. I look forward to making this. Sometimes yarn weight varies so much between the UK brands and other countries too. I’ve just thought...maybe it’s worth laying the yarn on a ruler Tracy, then you can give people the millimetres that said yarn strand is for future tutorials. Then at least people can get a weight that’s close to the tutorial. X

Love your yarn Tracy and enjoyed watching you shop, seeing all that UK yarn takes me back 47 years when I knotted all my baby outfits using Peter Pan, Sirdar and Patons, lots more but too many to mention, wish I could spend a week in the UK just shopping for yarn, thanks for sharing and keep well, before I forget do you have a pattern for those mitts you are wearing? I would like to make a pair for myself and my Daughter in Law.

Hi we have the same last name, hi Stubbsey. Yes you can substitute the yarn just as long as you use the crochet hook for that thickness of yarn it would look good in any weight
