Hello, thanks for the amazing inspiration! Just finished my June strip yesterday. It is clear to see now you are using a very interesting color pattern where the last edge becomes the next inside color. Maybe I missed it if explained this sometime? You do a great job of keeping color choice very open to the crocheter, but your ways of using color are so unique I would love to hear more advice or be given palate suggestions in future videos. Thanks again for all the hard work!

@JaydaInStitches3 жыл бұрын
Hi Shaz, If you're doing 20 rows, that January would have been 19 rows of split shell and 1 finishing row. February would have been 20 rows of V-Stitches. Make sure you counted your rows accurately. If that's all A-OK, then remember not to confuse the finished corner (shell, ch 2, shell) on the Jan strip with the yet, unfinished corner in the last space on your February strip, sometiems that can look at little funny when you get up to it.

Two things came to mind while making this strip. 1. Since you turned the May pattern into a bookmark, I could see that happening with the June pattern (and I know someone who would like one or two!) 2. You keep referencing a wrap or a shawl, and i was wondering - what would make a "not so hot" shawl, (it is summer soon and already in the triple digits where I live) and how many strips would make a decent size shawl (or wrap.) Yours is looking very pretty as a shawl, which is inspiring my CroJo to try it!

Hi Robin! Cotton, linen or bamboo yarn for the summer to start, it's much MUCH cooler. Then, something super open and lacy! So far I'd say the Seashell stitch or maybe the V-Stitch are the two most open, use a larger hook for a lacier stitch and it will be nice and breezy!

Hi Jayda are you still working on July’s stitch? I see a calendar blanket for 2018 also is there a way to find then in order and also buy the pattern

Hi Tammy! Our MMAM tutorials are the First Friday of every month, this one went up on July 02 😊 The link to our Etsy shop is in the description box of each video and we usually "pin" the latest MMAM stitch guide up top in our Shop so you should be able to see it when you visit. Have a super day!

Can you please tell me if the hook you were using has a plastic tip? If so, what brand is that?
@dawsonb55693 жыл бұрын
It's a steel or metal tip and the brand is Clover. They make the best hooks! =)

How do you block a big thing like a blanket when you don't have the room?
@JaydaInStitches3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lori, I use the floor! If you don't have enough floor space, then outside you can go with some towels, an old bed sheet and work on the lawn, driveway, porch, deck etc. :)
