Beautiful.....I'm going to make a baby blanket using multiple repeats and edge stitches. I'll use bulky yarn and 6 mm needles. Since it's not a scarf, the top will be straight and the scallops will be at the bottom. Thank you!

Hi! I decided to learn knitting just the other day and so far, your videos are the easiest and loveliest i found in youtube. I'm dying to try your patterns however, I've got 1 problem here. I learned how to stitch the beginning of the scarf but not the end of it. Can you please please please make a video on how to do the end of the scarf? Thanks and more power! By the way, I so love your accent! It's lovely to hear! (Trying to mimick yours! :-*)

@Yisraela9 жыл бұрын
Same here, I have started over so many times I can't count...
@FaithRichFidler9 жыл бұрын
I'm not the designer, but it looks like the repeats are 10, so you can cast on multiples of 10, and then add 5 stitches, as there will be 3 salvage stitches on one end and 2 salvage stitches on the other end. So 45, would work, or 55 or 65. See? Now mind you, I'm getting that from her patter on her website. www.thecastingoncouch.com/IMAGES2/Free%20knitting%20Patterns/Chunky%20Lace%20Scarf%20Website/Chunky%20Lace%20Scarf%20%202014.pdf This is a free download. I hope that answers, or at least helps a smidge. lol

Well I am on row 7, phewww !! Had to rip our row 1 four times....using a expensive 100 percent fine merino wool in a beautiful red yarn.....I am making mine a little bit bigger.I casted on 60 plus 5.....anyone want to experience this togeather ???.....
@cathleenfalkenberg68914 жыл бұрын
I made a larger one. I used circular needles size 4mm. Casted on 323 stitches. Take one row at a time. Just focus on knitting between *. And if you have to stop just do like on row 3 for an example * k2, yo, k2, sk2p, k2, you, k1* stop here then come back. You can add a stitch marker & make note on pattern. Hope this helps
