Hii!! Sorry for the confusion on the decreasing section ❤️🫶 On a decrease row you should make 4 dec total but spread these 4 dec evenly throughout the row- not back to back. The first one can be placed in the beginning or the row, the 2nd one 1/4 into the row, the 3rd 1/2 through the row & the last one 3/4 into the row. & in between each dec should be only dc! The reason I can’t put an exact number is because the pattern is made to measure and people would have different stitch counts depending how big their cuff is

Hii, im sorry i cut it short 🫶 for the decrease rows you should decrease 4 times in total for one row but the Dec should be split evenly through the amount of sts you have on on row & inbetween just dc - I couldn’t put “dc4 times then Dec” or a specific number bc the pattern is made to measure and everyone has a different stitch count per row if tht makes sense 😅❤️

This tutorial is wonderful! I find it very very clear and easy to follow. My only problem is that for whatever reason, the body of mine have come out significantly shorter than yours, so I’m going to have to continue to make them longer. Would you possible be able to tell me how many increase and decrease rows you recommend adding between standard dc rows if I lengthen the body? I understand that they are used for a scrunchie effect, which I really want, but I’m not sure if there’s a specific pattern you were sort of using to determine when to put in an increase or decrease row. Thanks so much for making this pattern and sharing it with us, these are just SO gorgeous x

English isn't my native language, can you please explain what you mean by "put 2 dc between 2 ribs" please ? I think I messed up my leg warmer because I didn't understand this instruction... Also if I follow the same pattern as you do, how much dc do I need to leave in between each increase ? I don't understand how many I should leave to be able to make 4 increase each time (sorry for this many questions, your pattern is really really amazing I just don't understand some things 😓) Thank you so much 💓
@natssrecord Жыл бұрын
that bit is a little confusing, no worries! ~ when making the top cuff we start making scblo and those create a ribbing effect. Once you start the first row of the body you will put 2dc in between 2 ‘ribbed’ sections, it would kinda look like this | dc, dc | ~~ the | indicating one rib, ahhh i hope that makes sense! & for your second questions for the increases and decrease you will want to space them equally out in between the row, there is no exact because the stitches will vary based on the leg warmers width~ but for example if i had 24 stitches, and i was making the first set of 4 increases , i would space them 6 dc apart!
@C4TTYG14M113 ай бұрын

Hey at about 7:30 u said that h like to put 2 dc in between 2 ribs ? What exactly does that mean??? Cause for my calf I did 30 rows for top ribbing, does that mean I should do 30 dc for R1 since 2 rows technically make 1 rib? Or should I do 60 dc? It was just a bit unclear in the video 😊

you could add additional rows of double crochet, in between rows of increases and/or decreases. & if you wanted to make them longer like knee high length but keep them chunky, id increase a lot going up the leg and also add random sections of decreases to keep it scrunchie! i’ve never made them that long though so i’m not 100% sure🫶🏻

Ok so once you get to the increase rows, how are we supposed to know how many DC are in between each inc if you fast forward through it and don’t mention how many to do exactly. Usually people will put (4 Dc, Inc x however many times we need to repeat that pattern)
@natssrecord2 ай бұрын
Hii! Sorry for the confusion❤️. On a decrease row you should make 4 dec total but spread these 4 dec evenly throughout the row- not back to back.
