H try switching out your spacers to help with the creaking. I replaced my carbon ones with aluminum ones and the annoying creaking went away. Just a suggestion. :) be safe…. That trail was brutal!

Turned out to be the seat itself. Still gave the headset and spacers a good clean today for good measure

I've only ever seen these trails under 2'+ of snow with xc skis on. I suspected they were boulder fields.

The top bit pretty much was exactly that. The climb up too. About 3/4 of the descent was pretty nice tho. A bit more pedaling than I expected but not so bad. On the way down I was thinking “I wish I did this as an out and back” because it was definitely more difficult at the top. I think an out and back would be the way to do it because you can just turn around when it starts getting too hard. Just my opinion

Great video man! Loving the Colorado trails! It’s hard to tell for sure from the video but it seems like you are creaking more when you sit back in the saddle than when you are descending and out of the saddle. Could it be your seat post rather than headset this time?

Thanks and you are right! It creaks way more when I sit down in the saddle. It sounds like it’s coming from the headset tho and I just assumed it was from the force from me sitting is putting more lateral pulling force on the headset causing it to creak. I’ve heard it’s a common problem with the Enduro so just figured that’s what it was. I’ll check out the seat post too to and report back because it could totally be the seat post!

You were right btw. Regressed the headset today and was disappointed to find that the creak was still there… was pushing straight down on the seat to investigate and nothing… then I started pulling on the front and back of the seat and ~creak~…. Turned out it was the seat itself, either the rails or the bolts cuz everything was super dirty under there. I neglect cleaning under the seat often. Gave it all a good clean and the creak is gone. So it wasn’t the the seatPOST but we’ll give it to you. Pretty impressive for just seeing the videos and noticing it happens when I sit. Good call.
