One of the most beautiful rides I went on this summer

If you’re still there, you have to do Floyd hill. Do the back canyon loop as well.

I’m not still there but I did hit Floyd hill. I didn’t do the back canyon loop tho 😢

Did you happen to hit Left Hand while in Boulder?
@_Aitch_2 жыл бұрын
I went twice actually. The first time I was pretty overwhelmed with how large and open it was but the second time went back with a little more confidence. Did the same loop both times (Twin Saddles, Baughman's Gulley, Castle Gulch, Bon Scott). Should get around to posting both of those videos soonish

@@_Aitch_ Cool man! Some of the trails (brown town & 47 degrees) are absolutely mind-bogglingly steep

@@remington1210 Yeh I stayed away from the double blacks because I heard it used to be for dirt bikes and such until they shut it down... and typically that stuff is GNARLY. The blacks were plenty challenging haha

@@_Aitch_ oh yeah I know! Still newish to the area myself, and the double blacks are rowdy as heck. They on the verge of a bike park not being able to build something like them because they’re so steep.

Can’t believe this trail is so close and I’ve never ridden it. Looks bluish, but videos can be deceiving. What would you rate it?

Okay, the parts you carried on looked blackish. I’d have carried my bike as well.

Most of it is super easy, there were a couple spots with big rocks that I had trouble climbing on the bike and that stair section you should definitely walk. There’s a sign saying “bikers dismount” and it’s definitely there for a reason 😂. Beautiful spot though. Definitely check it out. I’d say it’s mostly a green/blue with a couple black sections and a must walk section in there.

Hot tip: get a (cheap) CO fishing license, and mountain rescue is free (if you should ever need it). Best insurance policy out there. Without, Flight for Life is expensive.

That is not true, and is a common misconception in CO that I also believed for a long time
