“Darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the people.”
The people of God have been here before…
Dark nights of the soul
Deep valleys with death in the shadows.
Sitting in the den of hungry lions
Haman’s edicts hanging over our heads
Weeping at the tombs of untimely death
Choosing praise while chained and bound in the prison cell
God is our God, even in the darkness. He’s with us in the night watches. So we wait and we watch. We worship and we pray.
And, then the dawn breaks… and everything changes
People of God - we serve a God
who shuts the mouths of lions
who sends Haman to his own gallows
who calls out Lazarus on the fourth day
who breaks prison chains
and shines light on the darkest night
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60)
We have been “walking in darkness
but we see a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
a light has dawned. (Isaiah 9)
Yahweh - The covenant keeping God is sure to keep His word to the Pacific Northwest.
The dawn is breaking on a new season.
People of God - Awaken the Dawn with your praise for Yahweh is on the move!
On March 17 & 18, pastors, ministry leaders and intercessors from across the Northwest region gathering for the Church Awakening Conference to seek God for awakening in our churches and cities. These were two days of drawing near to the Lord, worshipping in His Presence together and connecting with others who have a passion for revival.
