The most competitive, hard fought ballgame i have ever played in was a church league softball, Methodist vs. Baptist, in South Bibb County, Macon, Ga. Great times back in the mid 1980's.

Our Lady of Lourdes 1 and Our Lady of Lourdes 2 used to have some heated softball games back in the 80s in Columbus Georgia! That’s where Tim is from so maybe he saw a few games or even participated in a few.

This reminds be of a friend I had. He had broken his nose many times. He was doing a little league baseball game, breaking to kids up. One smacked him in the nose with a glove with a ball in it. You guessed it he broke his nose. LOL

A true guitar hero. Sandy Pinkard of the great (Pinkard and Bowden) comedy duo suggested to Tim to use his guitar, during his stand up routine, and the rest is history. After P & B broke up I was lucky to meet Sandy when he came to work for the same company that I was workin for at the time. He is walking history.
