Hello, thank you for this video. 1. Does the preview screen of lumix g7 turns off when hdmi out is connected? 2. Is the lumix g7 good for outdoor crusade where the heat temperature can be high? 3. Hi thanks for your questions. If I remember correctly it doesn’t turn off. Yes the g7 can work for outdoors. It’s actually awesome just make sure you get a lens that works with the distance you need to cover. I have multiple lenses I would suggest you assess the distance you need to cover instead of just buying a random lens. I stopped using camcorders I highly recommend mirrorless instead of camcorders … Feel free to email me if you have more questions

Thanks for watching brother. Yes the Pro gives more features like recording and live streaming right from the Atem mini pro plus the HDMI out gives you a Multi -view for all inputs. Atem mini is still great but has no built in multi view no record/streaming engine .

@@boxparody9788 yes if you can afford it it’s more useful. And has way more features. Especially if you are connecting many cameras it helps to see every angle on the monitor. Plus you can easily stream without relying on a computer

You can stream on Atem mini pro without needing to use another software however for the Atem mini you need to use a streaming software like OBS or vMix because it has no streaming engine on it’s own

I also use ATEM Mini in my church. There’s a problem tho. Like you, I don’t use Blackmagic cameras to the ATEM Mini and the ATEM software won’t let you do color correction if your cameras aren’t Blackmagic. Without color correction my cameras look bad. I’ve tried using the OBS’ color correction, but the problem is OBS’ color correction read cameras that went through the ATEM as one input, so I can’t put different color correction for each camera. Do you have any suggestion for this issue? Thanks in advance

Hey Kefas Thanks for the comment. There are few options depending on the kind of cameras you are using. I think I can give you some suggestions if you can share this info: - How many cameras you are using - Camera Brand and models -Are you using Atem mini pro or the base model Hopefully we will be able to solve this together. I know how frustrating it is when you have a good camera but your Colors are off on your live stream

@@marshallbangun hi thanks for the kind comments. Surprisingly I have actually owned this camera in the past. To tell you the truth they are very good as far as HDMI connectivity is concerned and they are very reliable. However for dynamic range and low light performance they are weak. Also they are kind of old that’s why you don’t find many tutorials about them online. Moving forward I will be happy to assist you by looking at your current live stream image and see if we can play with the camera settings and improve the image quality. I have never used the Canon 7D mkii but I would suggest you choose between the Canon 7D mkii and G7. The Canon 7D mkii has bigger sensor and probably better autofocus, again I have never used it. It has no 4K though and G7 does, so its up to you. I would stay away from the camcorder

@@edwardgarcia8051 cool. You should be good. Maybe you will need a AC adaptor to avoid the battery dying on you during the stream. Although the battery may be good for about 2hrs and 30 minutes you never know you may forget to charge it or something...

Hi! Awesome video, this is exactly what i'm looking for! I see that you use for church livestreaming, thats my case. I found an used Lumix g7 with 12 - 32mm lenses. I can't afford new lenses right now. Can i reach someone in the pulpit about 15meters far from me?

Hey it’s possible but 32 mm might give you something a little wide. I think there is another kit lens that goes up to 150mm that gives you a good range that you can even use as reference for future lens purchase

Hello I am not sure if you can get a clean HDMI from the GX7. I know it has HDMI but to live stream with it it has to be clean. If you have it try it first even on TV or any monitor with HDMI
