In this video we will discuss what the ideal role of the team is and is not. Too many church security teams are not even doing the basics correctly. www.ministry-of-defense.com

I work church security and it is pretty demanding. I spend 40 hours a week at the church. I get what he’s saying about we’re not greeters but we do need to stand at doors and somewhat act like greeters so we can successfully neutralize the threat before it makes it into the sanctuary

Excellent video. The church definitely needs this type of information. As Scripture states: "My people perish for a lack of knowledge."

Great information Brother Brian LaMaster. I'm apart of a group called Concerned Clergy of Bulloch County and our mission is to promote sound Biblical doctrine and relationships between churches, homes, schools, and communities through out Bulloch County, according to the Holy Scriptures. To educate, encourage and lead people in the way of salvation, goodness, righteousness, morality and temperance as taught by the Bible. We are planning on dong a safety awareness sessions with the churches, community and local law enforcement and I would like to share your information. It is much needed because we can get comfortable down here in the South and think it can't happen to us. You bring out some great points and as Clergy and Leaders we need to address them instead of waiting until some bad happen and then try to figure out what to do. So thank you, and you never know, some of these clergy might contact you. Be bless and I pray that God will continue to bless your ministry.

To those who are just trashing Christians or whatever, why are you even here? This is meant to be an informative video, but I guess every type of person protecting others gets a bad rep nowadays. But thank you, sir, for posting this. We really do need to have a strong and gentle team to protect the flock (one that doesn't expect appreciation). Very helpful. Thank you.

@@sheepdog271 He did, didn't he? Quite the failed insurgent. Perhaps everyone in a congregation should carry. More guns will make it safer. Imagine if someone opens fire on a crowd and all 200 worshippers light the place up. Woooo hooo! That's how guns make you safe... MAGA MAGA MAGA

More and more thugs and criminals regard churches as a gun free zone. Also, check the stats concerning "bleed over" from domestic disputes coming to churches and other buildings. It is sad that this is what we have come to. Our small church has a PST. Protective service team. Knowledgeable retired military security train the team.

You don’t see Secret Service greeting people or anyone really in the security field. It is NOT in the scope of security work. There are plenty of pew warmers that are fully qualified for that job. Security is not hiding in a corner just because they are not greeting people. No one ever said that.

Church security is sheepdogs. They don't have weapons. They have Christ. I speak from first hand experience. Greater love hath no man than this. To lay down his life for his brothers. Sacrifice is the ultimate protection. We war not against flesh and blood. I was saved through the sacrifice of others. It is the ultimate protection and blessing. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Going to church and then going home to Jesus. Well, that's a novel idea! Faith in armed men or God? My protection was sacrifice without guns. I am sure not answering evil for evil with another gun. That God was well pleased. I will pray that God will reveal to you that violence for violence is not the answer for the Christian.

www.carlchinn.com/Church_Security_Concepts.html Church shootings occur more than you think. Nowadays with ISIS persecuting Christians and the current administration doing nothing, it is even more important for churches to have a well organized, trained security team.

Do you need a job to provide for your family? I mean, if God is "just going to provide", then we wouldn't need to work. God expects us to do our part in providing for our families and protecting those at/in our churches. If you read the word, there are plenty of references for such protection. They are provided on our website.

COMICSOB4U Luke 22:36 Jesus commands that if his disciples dont have a sward they sell their coat to get one. I dont think it can be much more clear than that.

I'm hoping to be doing security for a church soon. I don't get paid a dime and I don't want to. I get to volunteer as a bodyguard for the church. It's only a few hours every Sunday, but I'll get to protect my amazing neighbors.

Number 1 mistake, you should never refer to it as "taking a life", which you did. It's called "stopping the threat". So you failed.

On duty? You mean, alert. You're gonna get someone hurt with bad information. Then you play rock and roll at the end of your video, so don't call it a ministry.

Do. Pray. Dont , insult god by carrying guns.
@nbt36636 жыл бұрын
tommi atkins I don't insult God by not understanding His Word. Praying is single most important thing in the relationship with God. Defending the flock against an armed intruder is not only prudent but also biblical. Training is VERY important. If you think for a second "turn the other cheek" means sit in a pew and pray he stops, then unfortunately evil will win out just like in Texas. Trying to prove it's the will of the Holy Spirit for you to sit and pray and not defend yourself is nowhere in the Bible. I'd do a little more research on the subject before evil cons you into dropping your head and hoping a gun jambs.

If you do not know anything about the Bible, than it would be best to try to find one and read it. Then at least you would understand what is being discussed.
