I still say, one of the Number 1 features I want in a Dragon Quest Builders 3 (besides basically "more") would be the ability to create maps and dungeons. Seeing your church build completed just makes me wish that this was in a town in a dragon quest game.

I would like to hear your thoughts about this: I LOVE this game. Played it fully three times, I think. The thing that bothers me (and I don’t know how could it be fixed) is that as soon as you put a roof on any building the camera gets too annoying. I normally don’t do the roofs because it spoils the pleasure of the finished building. Even if I build houses or whatever with a height of 5,6 or more blocks the camera gets too close to the character and it’d difficult to enjoy the view. This church looks glorious. And it showcases all the techniques you have been presenting in all your videos. It really looks like a piece of art. Congrats.

Thank you very much :) as long as the rooms are big enough and not too cramped, I haven't had any issues with the camera. like in my big mansion build, there the height of each room is like 5-6 blocks but all of them are also very big in size (like 15x20 - 20x30 blocks or something)

I never realy saw the benefit in building. I loved everything of the game expect the building (sometimes it was fun dont get me wrong) after i beated the game i suddenly wanted to build and saw the benefit in it. But my isle of awakening is full whit holes and crapy rooms. I am planning on doing an second playtrough to start whit an fresh new un-messed up isle of awakening! I am already so excited to make buildings like yours!

@@BenXC I would recommend the mod where you can make rotating structures! The Japanese KZbinr PON-P does Minecraft and DQB2 vids, and they use that mod in Minecraft. You may get confused with placing blocks as the orientation of most blocks in Minecraft will depend on where you're facing. Also, stairs are usually used as roofing, and you can even place them upside down lol

Thank you! 😊 I would say the windows. They were a pain to build. A mix of blocks in mid-air/chiseled blocks/camouflaged magnet blocks. And also the main window was a pain in the butt ^^

Deine Bauwerke sind immer wieder ein Augenschmaus. Ich muss mich dringend mal motivieren, die nervige Story zu beenden. Bei DQB1 war die Story so gut, dass ich sie direkt ein zweites Mal gespielt hab um es innerhalb der Zeit (da gab es doch die Belohnung für unter 30 Ingame-Tagen) zu schaffen. Wird mir bei DQB2 nicht passieren...

How did you do your research with this? Google search images? Visiting the actual church and touring? A copy of the blueprints? Or did you have to just use your architectural knowledge to guess?

Only Google image search and a bit of google earth, though the resolution is pretty low, but to see it in 3D really helps :)
