Wow. I'm 28 as well, grew up in the church. My father was a minister for many years ,but he was also abusive . Church hurt is real and I understand the tears and the scars. God has really shown me grace because I completely fleshed out after high school and went into the world and ran from God, but He rescued me even in the midst of my horrible lifestyle. Same! Grew up in a pentecostal church, even went to college. Was a star pitcher, then got caught up with the streets. Started prostituting. I'm ashamed of that but 20 years later here I am. Serving and fearing the Lord. We all are without sin. God bless you ❤️

I am so happy to have found this. I started listening to Tommy Royale a couple of months ago, as I was compelled to delete most of my secular music (I wanted to be a DJ and am my friends go-to for music, so it was a crazy step). I'm so glad to hear his testimony now to put behind the music and going to a Spanish church, it adds to help me in the ministry and the gifts God has blessed me with. To His glory! This was good!

I relate. Experienced almost the same thing but different ways. Pastors falling and as their sheep it's a big blow we take ...we aren't idolizing them but we look at them as a father figure ...in my case I was going to church alone since my teens my parents never accompanied me so it was HARD.

This I say from personal experiences and I think you questioning the use of “black,” is contradictory to The Word of God because the Bible clearly references differences while acknowledging God loves us all just the same. Great channel... Love testimonies! Definitely these and nde is what changed my life even after dying amd beimg brought back and having no Heaven or Hell nde I never lost faith. GOD has always taken care of me as a Father as I lost mine when I was 10 and turned to drugs, games and crime. But, HE conitmed to bless me, even facing 7 years on prison I walked away woth probation and at the very same tone found out I was having a son. I would love to share my testimony. We have an enemy in the world- the devil whose agenda is to kill steal and destroy- to destroy everything God has ordained or created. If you read Job you will understand.
