Yes... this is where the painful part of the british heavy line starts. Surprisingly this tank worked better than the Black Prince for me which was by far the worst of the line... maybe it's because the gun on this is tier for tier better than the one on the Black Prince but I'm not sure.

You can't meet Tier VIII. Mostly, you'll be fighting against other V or low-tier against VI.

Same with czech line. Tier 6 is amazing , then after that the nightmare starts with tier 7 and 8. And with tier 9 you can enjoy the game again.

Remember to bring a good book to read for the large maps, I spend a lot of time chasing the fight. Good news is I’ve always got a lot of HP at the end when I get swarmed 😂

Churchill I, fully upgraded, is a solid tier 5 sniper and its slow speed means it remains accurate even on the move - this means you can lay down a lot of ammo at the enemy while making forward progress, but yeah, vs tier 6 it starts to lose out every single time in a gunfight, and at 7 you have to stay so far back as to make you a really poor TD. It just cannot afford to get into trades with the enemy at all as they will either just chip away at you with pewpew guns and retreat, or hit you for big damage and deny you any hope of fighting back.

I have to be honest, i have no clue why this tank is rated so bad and the churchill 3 is an epic tank. churchill 3 has bad armor and speed even with turbo, and convincing anyone to sit in front of you and let you burst them is a challenge.

it seems the only advantage churchill 3 has is that it never gets into t7 matchmaking, but I agree, the churchill 1 with the 76mm gun looks better

I actually had ton of fun with its successor the Churchil VII because it is just a spammer, and even lost i always got good DPM... Although the speed is just losing part when bunch of kids running at you with gold ammo + T34-85M premium MT that outplays heavies.

Quite a good cannon and I could not find more advantages. In my opinion it is the worst heavy tank of the 5th tier. And I must point out that I only played with other 5 and sometimes 4 tier(20 battles).

I prefer actually smaller gun with faster releaf. For some reason it gave me better experience (matchmaking sucked when using top gun) than the top gun... But yeah, this far cry from Churchill III

Playing through the tiers 5 6 and 7 is payment you must make before being allowed to drive the tiers 8 9 and 10. It's worth it though as they're lovely tanks

Hey don't knock the Churchill, it's my most played tank! I sold the VII and the Black Prince as soon as I'd finished with them but I've always kept the I. Then again I have got a six skill crew in it which helps, especially when you're tracked which happens a lot. You can even get bounces off the turret if you remember to quickly twitch your gun to the side after a shot.

I tried just now one hour of the game and it is impossible. like 10 games in one hour, all 15 to 5 or less. winning or losing doesn't matter. How do you cope with this? yes, some days this is really bad, and nothing you can do on it. today for me was a more lucky day with just 15 battles in 2 hours, but i quitt when i was dead, only 5 i survived. Some of the battle took quite a time for the only 2or 3 survivors. In the end i still had a winrate of 8/17. last wwek i had a great session. nothing i could do to avoid a 12/14 winrate. so most of the battles ended with slaughter of red team. so look forward to the days you are lucky - with winrate or with intense battles you can enjoy to the max. It will happen, not if is the question, it is the when.

I'm relatively okay. I remember back in the days battles are very campy, ends in draw a lot, and people are complaining a lot about slow games with too many TDs and artys. WG removed some of the campier maps, buffed the speed of a lot of slow tanks, introduced faster tanks, and introduced turbo -- and now we have this current meta. I just want WG to fix some of the easier to do stuffs by rebalancing the terrain resistance field mods (that is stupid because the traverse nerf is cancelled by terrain resistance so it's just straight buff to mostly heavies) and limit some maps that have no business to be in high tier (Ensk, Mines). I know that is expecting too much though, WG seems to be unable to do simple stuffs that would fix a lot of fundamental issues and insisting on complex solutions that often just adds new issues.

Y, gave it a go, better with the pew pew pee pee gun. Ur missing pen but gain tier iv tank hp worth of dpm and some gun depression that makes u able to do some sneaky stuff. Also I noticed enemies sometimes seem to fear the power of pew pew and it's 1.8s reload and retreat in stupid ways, which is rly funny and easy to punish.

Hi Skill, can you please add some analysis to these blitz games? Can you please check the team stats? i.e. if you win 15 to 3, how much total battles played (experience) is on your team vs. how much on enemy team?.... I have had a check from time to time and as always it is skewed to one side. WG say that the MM doesn't take player experience into it but I believe they are not being truthful. I believe that this is why we are having quick battles. One side is always much more experienced and this is done intentionally.

If you're going to keep the baboon transition, please please can you change the bright flash at the end to a dark fade and drop the volume on the sound effect? Most video cuts silently fade to black because it's subtle. The bright flash and sound are especially unpleasant for anyone viewing late at night. A design rule to live by is, "Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." I'm sorry to say transitions like this one don't usually age well.

I don't know... I liked this tank before I had Churchill VII... that is even better. It is slow but comparing to AT-2, AT-7... these are really slow. As a heavy tank it's not that bad... Quite fast gun, penetration is average however I would rate it as average tank. For me with Arnold Schwarzeneger inside... it was actually quite good :)

The top turret is part for the blame... who puts the gun shield (mantlet) behind the turret and inside? if the gun were to have at least decent gun arcs (elevation and depression angles), that would not be a problem to work around, but it's not the case... the gun despiste the stats, limits how does one use it (restricted to flat terrain, which there not many maps that fit that description). As for the mobility and armor, the mobility can be work around with, but the armor not so much. And if it weren't for the rather mediocre gun (opposite gun characteristics, good hard stats, bad soft stats), one could cope with the other aspects of the tank, but no, WG wants you to always either seek refuge on buildings or to camp far away due to perform good only at flatlands. By the way, i don't like much camping on this tank, the cammo is not great as expected, and the teammates will constantly shun you because you're a heavy tank that's supposed to be at the frontline, they don't care about the tank characteristics or if that does affect your playstyle, they only care about you doing their befitting concept of a heavy tank.

SKIIIIEEEEEEL I recently marked this vehicle in 101 battles and 60% winrate and I can agree that this tank is not that great :D 25km/h with 0 armor what so ever and "small gun" in a way is not very good compination in my opinion. Now I am trying to mark Churchill VII and I can tell you all guys... that tank is even worse ;)

Just kidding it's not epic but i would rate this tank as playable/good especially when it's vs tier IV-V tanks and new players... Skill, you didnt play the 57 mm gun on that tank. 400 more base dpm, 180 apcr pen. Its the same gun as 13 57... reload can go sub 1.8, that is where that tank and the other slow tanks shine, pew pew pew boom. 3.6 sec 150, 7.2 sec 300, 10.8 sec 450, i mean the ck 7201 is at 15 and the new wz is 15 ish aswell for 500, hmmm.. Might you play a few with dirty gold load out for the views.... please ......... 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌
