Ken, giving a 'thumbs up' for this beaut video hardly seems enough. Lovely misty morning in the valley, full of atmosphere. Loved the scenes at 4.30 and 12.35 on the Cauldon Canal. Top Notch.

Thank you for posting. You really captured the atmosphere. I was thrilled to view the canalside as well as the square sectioned industrial chimney filming. Once again, thank you!

But when will the Caly come south again, I am not able to get about at present due to losing both lower legs, but hope to again when I regain my mobility. But the visiting locos to preserved lines are badly publicised if at all, poor publicity is rife and endemic of the UK.

@@grahamlea2160 You really need to start checking places online. 419 has been advertised allover, on Facebook, numerous forums, railway press etc.

Not where I look in the few main sites I only have time to look in as I am severely disabled, as I lost lower legs in last 3 years and I have so many problems taking up so much of my time. So when and where is 419 visiting lines near Greater London ? please.

You are very very good at the misty early morning shots. I like the Alfred Hitchcock style cameo appearances in your own video (and Lucky).

Excellent video. Did you have someone helping you? At the beginning of the video, I found myself wondering how you were able to get all those view points.

Kitty , thank you for your kind comments, just myself and lucky and filmed over two days, I then shuffle the shots around in the edit a bit while maintaining a reflection of the true sequence of events, with the addition each shot I film at the time I always film in relation to what I have already filmed.

@@pennysteam What an excellent bit of editing. It really did feel like one day and not two. Thanks for your skills and hard work.

Grahams G1 Trains , thank you for kind comments, I use a Sony ax700 along mainly, I also us Lx100 on some of the hand held shots. I use coral video studio 2018, I also have 2019 but I would hold of getting it until they fix a bugs in the latest version, only just been released and I could not recommend it until they have addressed a few issues.

@@pennysteam Many thanks for letting me know, i purchased power director 16 it is ok but nothing special, i made problems for myself as my old PC struggles with 4K so i have that to sort that now , i may have a look at Coral once they have improved on it , thanks again Graham

Could have done with a bit more of the early morning on shed (without the music as the engine prep noises are so much more interesting). The early morning colours and vid quality were fantastic including the slowmo smoke. You are so good at that, and hardly any of the UK videographers film it. Pretty good though regardless and has inspired me to visit the CVR again later this year. Very well done. Briliant coverage of one of our heritage railways with future great potential.

too much footage of water and not enough steam engines

@@anthonycrofts9895 , access at churnet is very limited unless you have line side access, which they have not given for some years.
