Ingredients:
Beetroot
Onion
Green pepper
Chutney
Tomato sauce
Brown onion soup
White ground pepper
Salt
Oil for frying
Method:
Wash the beets thoroughly and add to your pot with water and cook until soft
Once cooked, allow to cool and cut into your desired shape, alternatively you can grate.
To a pan, add oil and fry onion and green pepper
Add chutney and tomato sauce
Add salt and white pepper followed by a brown onion soup paste
Combine and cook on low heat for 5 minutes
Pour the sauce into the beets or the other way round. Mix well and refrigerate before serving.
