Many years ago on a flight i was in the throes of a terrific attack of migraine. A co passenger sensed this and asked me to hum . I did it just as i dint have anything to ease the pain at that point. Incredibly,i fell asleep after 15 min of humming and woke up refreshed when we landed. Just remembered that as i listened to this

The word 'mantra' is explained as " mananaat traayate", 'mananaat' = by being mindful, through meditation , 'traayate' = it protects. Beautiful video! Very happy that a neurologist has done these researches and declared the results that add authenticity! 🙏💐🕉️

36:09 Namaste. Excellent very true. Actually when you go deeper into mediation you come into contact with god. When I say God who ever you think God is he manifest in that form. The guru that you mentioned actually came to Trinidad and spent some time in the chinmaya mission of which my wife and daughter were students. My Guru is Dr baskaran pillai. He has many videos and I just lay down on my bed and experience everything.. Yes you are right you can stay anywhere anytime and completely heal yourself. Faith belief and practice is the key. Twelve years ago, I was flying from London to Egypt with British model Binuba Buma when I got a terrible headache. Buma pulled my head to her chest, gave me some treatment, and told me to repeat a mantra. In less than 20 minutes, I felt completely relieved. I didn’t want to get up and stayed there until the flight landed. That’s the power of a mantra.

Great Eye opener to a lot of Gen Z minds. She raised a perfect hook, i.e., two cells forming a zygote.., exactly, a staunch scientific person like me also gave thought of this mystery. Preparation for Meditation has also been scripted, yama, niyama, aasana, pranayama, pratyahara, dyana, yoga, samadhi.

You said correctly that knowing science does not mean that one should be an atheist. Rather the person gets an opportunity to FEEL/SENSE the reality. My hats off to you. Waiting for more such videos. I tried Mantra meditation for a while, but it didn’t work, so I quit. Later, when I combined asanas, pranayama with Mantra meditation in one sitting on an empty stomach (first asanas, then pranayama, and finally Mantra meditation), it miraculously solved most of the problems in my life ( the whole thing takes about one and a half hours everyday), including very high levels of stress, persistent insomnia, and many other issues. Of course, I used to walk and still walk every day; that is essential for me.

I had a medical intuitive in North Carolina diagnose several issues without being told anything about me. Nothing at all. She correctly identified four issues doctors had already identified, particular bones that had been broken, plus she identified an issue they had not diagnosed. I got tested and the tests confirmed she was right. The correct diagnosis she gave me was tremendously helpful for improving my health and has been ever since.

Great guest! Interestingly, my niece studied neuroscience and I learned about the field of psycho neuro immunology. So crucial in mind body medicine. She’s now a Naturopathic doctor. I got fascinated and looked into this more and learned that traumatic experiences in children eventually manifest as specific diseases later in life. There’s a great book titled “control your health by controlling your emotions” by Dr Pearsall. Even simple questionnaires at the end of each chapter to evaluate your type emotional type (hot, cold personality etc). The field of Anthroposophical medicine also is about mind body medicine! This was pioneered by Rudolph Steiner. Those in America may have heard of Steiner schools, Waldorf schools that use the method of developing children both academically but also emotionally to become whole. All this is fascinating to me. I’m not a doctor, I’m a cyber sec professional but anyone can learn/employ these practices. The guest is great. I’m sorry to say the host could be better prepared with specific questions and sound crips, without fog horns. Best wishes for continued success for the show🙏🏼
