С твоих слов потомки волжских булгар (с чем я не спорю) Чуваши носители языка булгар совершенно другого языка , когда то пересеклись с татаро-башкирами, переняли пару словечек и после этого стали тюркоязычными? Only a part of Chuvash share common background with Finno-Ugric Mari, Erzia, Udmurt. But the Chuvash themselves have come from the Caucusus - there are many folk stories and legends on that. Recent genetic studies prove that, also showing that there's significant genetic difference with Mari. But it doesn't mean Mari and Chuvash are not close. Vice versa! The Chuvash and Mari fought together against Moscow and Kazan for a state of their own and share very similar culture.

@Purple1cloud 1:35, 2:04, 2:12, 2:16. I think men's clothing was less important, and it was not preserved. Women's clothing is preserved more because it's hereditary. Especially the silver-coined accessories were inherited. Of course, women made new ones along the way. Some of this tradition still remains. But already in my family i can say it stopped. My mother has those, and although my sister will inherit it, she doesn't feel need to make new one.

They say the Hunnu borrowed a lot from the Chinese - as China was settled and produced "culture" - all little things that people wanna possess. Pentatonic music in fact was spread all over Eurasia - north to south, east to west. Who borrowed from whom is really not important. As of today people around the world believe music tarnslates to everybody.
@derlingerardclair62523 жыл бұрын
The music sounds vaguely Oriental,such as Chinese,or Korean.But this probably isn,t too surprising since their Turkic ancestors originated within sight of China,
@Apparu3 жыл бұрын
Chuvash music too is largely based on pentatonic scale similar to Chinese. The vagueness may be due to the bands experimentation with mixing of Chuvash and Russian styles.

Salem/Hello from a Turkish guy, is there any English language book that contains Chuvash embroidery and motives and their meanings?
@Apparu2 жыл бұрын
Selam. Not as far as I know of. There are good books in Russian, for example Chuvash Embroidery Techniques 2006 by Evgeniya Zhacheva

Думали, что русский народ - толковый народ и шли за нами, а оказывается сами себе врали. Как народ вытесняющий другие народы может быть толковым?

It is very hard to say, for there's no definition of Tatars. We are relative with Kazan Tatars by blood. We descend from Volga Bulgaria. But we separated from each other by own will, by will of Tură and Allah.

This music reminds me somewhat of East Asian music,such as either Chinese,Korean,or Japanese music,friends.I guess that I shouldn,t be too surprised since the original Turks originated within sight of China,friends.

Только я не уверен правильно ли я услышал "сăвайлă" в последней строке. Слово означает "на сваях" по русски, что как-то неприменительно к девушке. Чуваши, подскжите, пожалуйста, правильные слова и смысл последней строки.

@@Apparu Thanks! Çuvaş songs are incredibly beautiful. One day when i was 7 years old i lost my mother at the mall in Germany and yelled "Anne!" One woman who was of Çuvaş origin understood me and helped me out by finding my mother again. I will never forget this heartwarming moment ever. :)
