I’ve been looking for something inexpensive and standalone to run Windows when the need arises, and this device seems to fit the bill perfectly at a pretty unbeatable price.

I was tempted to buy the Hi10 X1 due to the N100 SOC but got discouraged by the puny 3400 mAh battery. Glad it has a dedicated usb-c port for charging (I had a Chuwi Hi10 Pro that did not charge when the tablet was on) I'll keep an eye on it when it's on sale. Great video as always.

I had a Chinese gaming handheld that ran Windows. I installed Ubuntu on it and for some reason it also would boot in portrait mode. I wonder if it has to do with the types of displays they use.

I have a DELL 5290 2-in-1 tablet and i wouldn't recommend getting the 8GB version with Win11. On itself Windows is using half of it, compared to about 2.8GB for Win10. So with just a couple of tabs open in Firefox and it's maxing out already. These days 16GB is really the minimum.

Try these keys: [Shift] + [Windows] + [Arrow (left or right)] (when using more than one monitor) Play with other combos once you've got that. You're welcome.

Question did the virtual keyboard come up in Linux with the keyboard disconnected? #2 did you try and reinstall Windows and did it reactivate? #3 do you think chrome os flex would work?? Thanks!

@@pdp8 on screen keyboard doesn’t show automatically. I haven’t tried to reinstall Windows it was activated before so I don’t expect any issues. Flex should work
