Tara and Darcy share a kiss on the dance floor. Through the crowd, at a distance, Nick witnesses them share this passionate exchange. It was at this moment when he realized that he, too, wanted the same. For himself and Charlie.

I never thought that Chvrches created this song. in other words, Chvrches is so underrated. I LOVE THEIR SONGS. 84 people must be listening to another song. Clearest Blue is probably their best song yet. I was getting annoyed by how long it's taken for this album to come out, but I've been shown why. This album blows the old one out the water and The Bones Of What You Believe is one of my favourite albums. I agree with Daniel, this album veers away from your standard pop song, the early tracks they've released so far have fantastic substance and depth. The overall sound is similar to the old album (which is nothing bad) but these songs have a very different feel. And I prefer it. An amazing album so far, just can't wait for the rest of it!!

Shaped by clearest blue Shaped by clearest blue Shaped (Will you keep it, half-a-way) By clearest blue (Will you keep it, half-a-way) Shaped (Will you keep it, half-a-way) By clearest blue (Will you keep it, half-a-w

I disagree vehemently with the people saying this sounds too much like their debut album. The song structures seem to be a lot tighter this time around and more diverse, instead of the standard song structure of most pop tunes. This song in particular seems a lot more dance-influenced, and builds to that cathartic moment halfway through instead of just petering out. Sure, the heavy, glistening synth sound of their debut is still very much the same; but Revolver wasn't too far from Rubber Soul, and that managed to do something similar yet entirely different.
@Yoshi-zt5df9 жыл бұрын
+Daniel Plainview agreed this album is much different than their debut so far at least
@xXhunter47Xx9 жыл бұрын
+Daniel Plainview I agree. Just the structure of the songs that CHVRCHES has released that are off the new album are a lot more poppy and bouncy to them, yet still retain that beautiful synth pop style and vocals that makes CHVRCHES, well, CHVRCHES.
@Chris-vg3ml9 жыл бұрын
+Daniel Plainview You know how I know this doesn't sound too much like their debut album? I wasn't into their debut album at all and thought it was very overrated. The tracks we've heard so far from Every Open Eye have got me far more interested in CHVRCHES than any of the tracks from The Bones of What You Believe. I'm really looking forward to the release.
@lyle97939 жыл бұрын
+Daniel Plainview this album sounding a lot like their debut album isn't even a bad thing, thats one of my favourite albums
@danielplainview25849 жыл бұрын
Vojta K. How does it lack excitement and urgency? If anything the build-up in this song conveys that much more precisely than most of anything on their previous album. Some songs (I.E. Tether) felt like unfinished sketches of songs. So far I'm enjoying the new material. And yes, Taylor Swift is entirely different than the stuff we've heard. Shake It Off incorporates horns and a rim-heavy drum beat. Bad Blood sounds nothing like the heavy, Vangelis-esque sound of CHVRCHES.
