I love, love, love this band. When I saw they had done a song for the game Death Stranding, I was so excited! Love these versions of both songs. Death Stranding is my overall favourite, and Forever is one of the best on Love is Dead. Been listening to them since Every Open Eye was released 👌

Lauren is a wonderfully insightful and intelligent human being, steeped in talent yet humble to the core. I watched an interview she did a few years back where she discussed having to deal with misogyny online as a result of being the frontwoman of a band, and what she spoke about are things we should already know. Despite having every right to be, she wasn't being angry, abusive or obnoxious about the experience. She simply spoke about the realities of being a woman in an industry where the do's and do nots for woman have been predefined. Certainly to me, it's pretty obvious that these rules have been defined by men, but they are then reinforced by both men and women who have been lured into the normalisation of the absurdity. Once again I reiterate Lauren was not angry, abusive or obnoxious in her assessment, yet somehow she managed to get labelled as an angry feminist as a result of pointing out what should be so abundantly obvious to at least the majority of people. Have we actually entered into the f&%king twilight zone here? You just can't win, or if you do it's a very slow process. Many woman know this, which is why they opt to just fit into the predefined mould in order to earn money, thus becoming part of the fabric of the reinforcing and normalization of an absurdity. It's far more difficult to push on ahead whilst being true to yourself, and Lauren Mayberry is doing just that. Look and learn folks.

.....was thinking about the song Feels Like The First Time a few days ago.....very good song by Foreigner......a telepathic link....not sure which of the three it would be though....here's a twentieth century spoonerism.....web design student Val did a website for me, another student overhearing our conversation at the bar (Library Bar in Ed Uni) about it....asked us, at some point, "Could you lend me the sink?".......Val realised what he must have meant to say, responding in her New York drawl, "You surely meant to say 'send me the link'?" "Why, what did I say?" I said, "I think both of us heard you say 'lend me the sink' by mistake!" Really how come I've never seen this before I think.. I got to tell you Lauren Mayberry your look in this video completely turned my brains into mashed potatoes.. when I first seen it. I knew I hadn't seen this before... I've never seen this footage of the 2 Fluffy's... Al Bundy is the greatest American that ever was. And Lou Gram is one of the greatest singers of his time. What i really mean damn I love this amazing young Woman. Your like the embodiment of what a woman really is. Not what the Woke joke is trying to pass off as a woman. Mr T was a door man in some famous Night Club before he was a actor.. He was so intimidating all he use to do was press his cane down on a trouble maker's foot and they tended to vacate themselves pretty quickly... A good Man was Mr T we all loved him as young children... He was the A team.
