In times of trial, we rely on the truths of God’s Word to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, removing our focus from our circumstances to our Promise Maker and Covenant Maker. The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:10, "But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve." We can choose to surrender all our concerns at the throne of the One who is sovereign Lord of all creation, for His Word also says in Psalm 55:22, "Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall." And 1 Peter 5:7 echoes this, "Give all your worries and cares to God, He cares about you." We can all go through that feeling of God not present or sensing we are alone, give the credit where the credit is due-satan-he devises those ways of negativity. God does love you and puts others around so you have the love you need.
