You will still find many Bible believing Christians in the C of E and many Churches in it that will not conduct same sex blessings.

As someone else has said, there are still many Bible-believing churches in the CofE, that hold fast to Biblical teaching on gender, sexuality, and spiritual purity. They are more common in the bigger cities, especially London, but can be found in all areas of England.

Many protestant churches (including CofE) remain true to scripture (remember, sola scriptura is our whole thing). While I admire the Catholic and orthodox churches resistance as a whole, this does not mean that all protestants have become unbiblical. There are even some people aiming to reclaim the lost churches, such as operation reconquista

Blessings are not an intrinsic party of a wedding. Nor do Anglican clergy have the power to bless, unless acting on behalf of the whole Church (which is not the case with gay marriages). So these proposals are fraudulent virtue signalling... And of course the proposals do also conflict with existing Anglican doctrine and teaching.

True Christianity, Orthodox Jews, and Islam do not agree with same sex marriage and homosexuality. I am not sure about Buddhism and Hinduhism. Does anyone know what these two religions believe when it comes to homosexuality?

it is always interesting when certain Christian groups claim a literal interpretation of the Bible is essential. They never seem to acknowledge the bits that call for the assassination of non believers - the position of women as subordinate to their menfolk or the need for sacrifices - All of which are 'literally' in the Bible. I'm not saying these things should happen but just pointing out the requirement for anyone who wishes to read the bible as a Literal instruction book

That is nonsense. The Law was fulfilled by Jesus on the cross. Women are not subordinate to men. Women are made differently and are a helper. In a perfect world this would work - ! Sacrificial system is ended. Old Covenant. Do Jews still sprinkle the blood of bulls and sheep? Do they still have the temple and the Levite priests? No. The temple was destroyed in 70AD as Jesus said it would be in Matthew 24:1-2 Read Hebrews 9 which is a direct challenge to Numbers 19. Christ Jesus was the final sacrfice for the atonement of sin. Your sins He carried on the cross for you to be in right relationship with Almighty God. Sin separates us from God. He turns His face away. We are unholy in His sight. John the Baptist said of Jesus; "See the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. " John 1:29 He said that by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

People who criticise other Christians for “taking the bible literally” are quick enough to take sections literally as long as it fits their agenda.
