A couple of teenagers talking to each other, stupidly (yes, stupidly, but no more than that) using some "politically incorrect" terms (say, an r-word but not(!) in its primary meaning and not(!) about mentally diverse persons around them, nor in general) are overheard by a teacher and the hell of new era witch hunting breaks loose. When I witnessed that I thought to myself: "How intolerant did they get in their zeal to be tolerant?" Only to find the same thought expressed in Mr. Atkinson brilliant speech: ..."I am not intolerant" - say many people, say many softly spoken, Highly Educated liberal-minded people - "I'm only intolerant of intolerance." And people tend to nod sagely and say "Well, yes, wise words, wise words..." And yet if you think about this supposedly inarguable statement for longer than five seconds, you realize that all it is advocating is the replacement of one kind of intolerance with another, which to me doesn't represent any kind of progress at all...

I think the role of government, according to the Bible, is primarily to restrain evil and protect God-ordained liberty, marriage and family. The media will be telling us it’s all about social policy, interest rates, housing, education, healthcare, welfare… money, money, money.

I am not even going to Bother. The politicians are promoting evil. All bar 1 voted for BUFFER ZONES which stop HELP OFFERED TO PREGNANT MOTHERS. The TAX analogy is a poor one. INDUSTRIAL SCALE KILLING - That’s what ABORTION IS. My MP doesn’t even answer my polite emails. She replies : My views on ABORTION are well known . SHE SUPPORTS ABORTION On the doorstep political candidates tell you what you want to hear. Then they vote according to the DIKTAT of their party leadership. - that’s my experience of politics today in Britain. Today’s politicians would sell their grandmothers if it brought them close to a win at the polling booth.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but Christ's kingdom is made up of all ethnicities: 'There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.' Gal 3:28. 'After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.' Rev 7:9. In the sense of the Church, multiculturalism (by the above definitions) is biblically mandated. As for international migration, Christians are free to differ on practical matters, but we are commanded to show love and compassion to foreigners (particularly our brothers and sisters in Christ): 'When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.' Lev 19:33-34. 'For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.' Mat 25:35.
