I almost never watch your channel because it is a mess logistically. All these clips that are interspersed with the full interview that's either before or after the clips makes it nigh impossible to find the long format I'm looking for. Everything else about the podcast is great but I get tired of clicking on a video only to get 5 minutes or less of a much longer conversation. Make a clips channel or start the title with something that tells the viewer that it's the full podcast.

Fun fact, Allen Dulles, the head of CIA back in the day, was “forced to resign” by JFK. (It’s well known JFK wanted to flat abolish the CIA.) After JFK was shot Johnson appointed Allen Dulles to the Warren Commission which investigated the assassination… and found Oswald “worked alone.” Former President Truman said the CIA was his Frankensteins monster. MK Ultra and Economic Hitmen are fun topics too.

A secretary at the Smithsonian had his brain in a box then it got "lost". Never has been found to this day. Why would his brain be in a box rather than being buried with his body? What valid reason could there be? Could it be because the brain showed more than one bullet from different direct directions? I can't think of any other reason. The CIA has run child trafficking operations, even tunneling under a daycare.

0:50: 🔍 An ex-CIA covert intelligence officer explains the different types of CIA officers and the vulnerability of private intelligence contractors. 14:05: 🔒 The speaker discusses the levels of security clearance and compartmentalization in the CIA, highlighting the challenges faced by presidents in making promises without full knowledge. 19:25: 🔒 The President's Daily Brief and the nuclear football are heavily guarded and protected with a combination of physical and digital security measures. 27:58: 💣 The process of launching a nuclear weapon involves constant drills, emergency action messages, and decentralized control in the US, while in Russia, senior officers have the right to refuse launching. 37:15: 🔍 The lens of history in the world of espionage tends to focus on big events and forget the small ones, such as the case of Edward Snowden. 46:33: 🕵 The CIA looks for specific skills and flavors when recruiting agents, and the core competencies are not hard to find in people. 55:33: 🕵‍♂ CIA officers in deep cover create their own legends and aliases, and are trained to compartmentalize their true identity to avoid losing themselves, but the longer they stay undercover, the higher the risk of losing track of reality. 1:04:30: 🔑 The noise and discord we see in the West is mostly internally generated, with foreign actors adding fuel to existing fires rather than creating new narratives. 1:13:35: 💡 Conspiracy theories are born when there is a kernel of truth followed by a lack of information, leading to speculation and the need to find rational explanations for uncertainty. 1:22:58: 💼 High-powered individuals with an 'apex predator' attitude are necessary for society's progress and success. 1:32:41: 🔑 The speaker reflects on the challenges and expectations of being at the top and the value of having dangerous individuals on your side. 1:41:34: 🔑 Real risk and perceived risk are not the same thing, and it is important to focus on real risk when weighing the risk-benefit scenario. 1:50:55: 🗒 The reality is that most people don't care about what others think of them. The fact that a single take on Snowden in this podcast is enough to throw every single commenter into a harsh anti-trust emotional state of mind, just goes to show how easy it is to manipulate emotions of the general public. Intentional or unintentional, true or untrue -a single well crafted story can make people show their colors and ideological stance so effortlessly, it's amazing. People who have the capacity to manipulate, are feared most by the people who are easily manipulated.

Been out of the game for 30 years, but if I remember right, Q clearance is department of energy. He makes it seem like there are different levels of TS/SCI but that was not the case when I had one. You get a different SCI access to each of the programs you work on. So if you work for NSA in sigint there is a SCI access you gain. If you are a squint for the NRO, then there is another SCI access you gain for that. When you no longer are a part of a program and therefore lose your need to know, you lose your access to that SCI program. They are all theoretically the same level and require the DIA to do the same special background investigation on you to gain that TS/SCI basic level of trust, and then based on the program you are working on, you will gain access to that specific compartment. The true crime is that a lot of stuff gets classified that all our "enemies" know, but it is classified so that the american public can't be told.

Any channels that survived the Covid censorship purge did not do so by accident but by design. I honestly have a KZbin stream that isn’t tailored ideologically and I think this advice is worth sharing…If I see a political KZbinr I like, and for example I like Amala from Prager U. I think she’s very moderate and sincere and isn’t mean spirited towards the left. Which means she at least sees herself as being on the right. So I will look up videos criticizing her and see if I can find any valid counter-arguments to a point she might make, which at the very least, keeps a balance. And I do this with sincerity became fighting my own potential for bias is important to me. So while many ppl have these parasocial relationships with KZbinrs and will believe everything their person of choice says, and never look into the probability that this person isn’t correct about EVERYTHING since no one is. And they’ll never consider to view the other sides points, at least not in earnest. Watch the criticisms of your info sources people! You should always try to grow beyond any ideological box, and you can’t do that without hearing all arguments from the mouths of those who make them. Like, if I just trusted what Amala shows as someone on the lefts argument, that’s not good enough. I will watch the other persons video. The result…people are far closer to each other in values than anyone thinks. The polarization is 85%+ superficial

Those people actually need an agency for growth, cause if you take a person with high psychopathy that also has high loyalty, they can have their drive shifted towards goals that add positive benefits rather than a drain on society, it's like taking in a stray cat, sure it's a wild animal that's probably killed a few other animals, but once domesticated, they wind up being some of the most loyal and loving companions even getting rid of rodents around the house, basically pest control, but if abandoned or no one takes them in, they have no one to be loyal to except themselves and instead of eating cat food to fill their needs, now they have to hunt other animals and wind up leaving dead rodents all around your house.

Because "taught" presumes being freely given to someone, It is readily "learned" by those who take personal responsibility for their own education. This takes no consideration for the fact that doing so removes the advantage to exploit those gullible people, who expect life to just happen for them.
@davocc2405

@@dannybrown5205 education should be the opportunity to create a synthesis of what you are taught and your own experiences. In this instance the "taught" part would be the notion, the concept, the idea - the codified version of the philosophy. When I studied some philosophy subjects this indeed is what truly stuck with me and was intensely valuable and I notice this being of genuine value to those who are young and learning or more importantly those who are going through something that creates confusion and anxiety, where they can't see the forest for the trees. It reminds me of an amazing interview with boxer Mike Tyson where he says these extraordinarily profound and "based" things that he learned from his own life experiences - ideas that could have saved him a LOT of suffering and angst in his younger life if he'd only just been exposed to the ideas as Cus D'Amato did for him before he died.
