Actually what you were saying about bullet journals is very accurate. The first time I heard/saw a bullet journal was all those super fancy ones online. And even though I was in awe how pretty they were, at the same time they also turned me off from bullet journals. The amount of work it needed to set up a pretty spread seemed too exhausting to me. it wasn't until the end of last year that I found out that the original idea of a bullet journal was pen, paper and a list. So seeing a low setup simple bujo is very much welcomed. I actually did switch from a weeks to a bujo in the beginning of year. My bujo try didn't last very long, 4.5 weeks to be exact. But I did learn what worked for me and what didn't so the next time I start thinking about a bujo I know what to gravitate towards. Your bujo setup is very lovely and I really enjoyed this video. Please keep us posted how it goes with your bujo.

I can totally relate to that! I always thought bullet journals had to be full of those artistic spreads with lots of doodles and stuff ... and I mean, I love that some people are setting theirs up like this, because in the end bullet journaling is about creating something that works for you. I could never keep up with something like this though, so I'm glad I discovered the more simple setups and the original idea of just pen and paper being enough. Also, thank you so much!! 🤍

i love your minimalist setup! i feel like i’ve seen a lot of people moving from bujos to hobonichis recently so it’s nice to see people go the other way. i’m currently in an A5 leuchtturm but videos like these always make me want to try A6! keep us updated how it’s going

Thank you! 🤍 Unfortunately I'm also back in a Hobonichi by now to be honest ... or should I rather say "for now"? - maybe, lol. I still absolutely love the a6 pocket size though, so I would definitely recommend trying it!

@@hellysjournal funnily enough i am also now in a hobonichi weeks hehe... trying to work out a new system as i'm not ready to let go of my bullet journal just yet! but at heart i'm a one book girlie so it's tricky 💔

because of time restraints with having a baby and now about to have my second I have switched from a bullet journal to a rings planner system. It saves me time from creating spreads, but I miss it so much. when my life is not so chaotic I can’t wait to get back to bullet journaling.

I totally get that! I can't really keep up with a bullet journal when life is busy either ... Oh and also: Congratulations! 🧸🤎

I use the A6 pocket Leuchtturm too for my bullet journal. I think this is my third year of using one now. It always seem to be what I come back to!

It's just such a great notebook & size for bullet journaling, isn't it? 📖🤍
@kerrym19797 ай бұрын
@@hellysjournal It really is. i try bigger notebooks every now and then but always come back to the A6!

Great setup! Do you have a link for the day of the week stamps you used in your monthly spreads?
@hellysjournal2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately not. I bought them in a german stationery store quite some time ago and I'm not sure if they're available online somewhere. Sorry! 🤍

i love how simple everything is! im using an La6 rn too w/ a mix of others. Does your a6 fit nicely into the hobo pouch you showed earlier ? i've been looking for a little case and this would be so cute if so 🥰.
@hellysjournal2 ай бұрын
It does actually! You wouldn't be able to fit a "true" a6 size notebook, but since the a6 pocket is a bit slimmer it fits pretty much perfectly! 📖🤍

Is the pocket Leuchtturm the same gsm as the larger size? I would love a pocket Leuchtturm, but I find there to be bleed-through with the larger size.
@hellysjournal3 ай бұрын
Yes, as far as I know it is! I never had any major problems with bleed-through though. 🤔

@hellysjournal7 ай бұрын
