Commission someone else or get classes seriously I learned to sew the basic in 2 weeks and it was so easy once I understood how it worked it was pretty simple now I’m a lot quicker too I recently made a simple fully lined no decor dress with a ruffled side with jeweled tulle on the bottom edge in 7 hours and a unlined basic pencil skirt dress with a center back zipper in 4 days only 2 hours a day. I’m not saying you’ll catch on right away but practice makes progress and it might be something fun to do in your free time. I design Halloween costumes, stage attachés, and wedding dresses for fun.

Super amazing! Love it! If I could paint I would recreate your dress and send you a miniature version of it. I think it is that awesome! I look forward to more of your adventures. In school we sew boning channels for the boning and attach it to the lining or under layer, like a separate piece and then put the green layer on top, that way the bones don't show through the dress and there is no hot glue burns. The point is to make it and you did that!!!! So two pieces a petticoat aka fancy slip, and then the skirt part with a lining.

Many acrylic paint brands have a medium you can add to the paint that turn it into fabric paint. It is then hand washable and line dry. I have used it on ties and other things made with fabric.
