That sound is unbearable just like I remember it in 2021. I knew they we were coming but was not expecting that sound like normal cicadas. I was in fannin county Georgia along the toccoa river and it sounded like thousands of circular saws all in the trees around me.

Damn that’s one of my favorite areas on the planet. I basically live between Birmingham and Talladega about 45 mins from theGA line, and we’re getting them the loudest I’ve ever heard this year. I assume you are too, considering you’re only about 350 miles away or so

They sound so different then the ones here in Texas and ours are green

The regular ones are green, the periodical broods are the reddish orange seen in the video

Okay bet I'm going to be glad when you're gone too stop being mean to the cicadas crickets make noise so you should be used to this every single 17 years now if you don't want to see any cicadas and don't watch the videos dummy
